Good cable, but not for Phone to TV.
This cable is thin and lightweight. I purchased it for travel, when weight is critical. It worked fine with my Fire Stick, but would not connect my Samsung phone to TV from the HDMI adapter - this requires a thicker cable - the reason related by seller:"That cable uses an active chipset to boost the signal since the cable is so thin. In rare cases, devices like your phone can be incompatible with the active chipset."

Great cable
It works well, it's nice and thin, and it reaches a little more than I thought it would. The only nitpick I have is that there are 3 separate labels all telling you the one side is for the TV/Monitor - but that's probably to try to deal with the folks who don't know how redmere works.

Fantastic HDMI cable
This is so much better than the thick 15 foot cable I'd originally been using to connect my PC to my plasma television. That cable was so thick and stiff it lost its grippability and would disconnect every time I moved my PC so much as an inch in one direction or another. In two months or so of use I've had no connection problems as some have mentioned in other reviews. To clarify, my PC is connected to a Sony A/V receiver feeding to my TV.

Good cable, bad sticker
This is a nice thin cable that works well. Unfortunately I had to remove a star for the warning sticker. I understand that this is a unidirectional cable and you need to make it very obvious which end of the cable goes where, but the orange warning sticker indicating the TV side did not peel off cleanly and left a bunch of sticky residue.

Simply because the price is usually better and its just more convenient
These days there are very few things that I actually go to the store and buy. I mostly order things online. Simply because the price is usually better and its just more convenient. Cables are one of those things I usually go to the store and purchase so that I can physically see the cable that I am ordering. There are just so many manufacturers that produce different types of cables of different qualities and repackage and relabel them for specific retailers. You just never really know the level of quality you are getting from cables you order online. Its on of these hit and miss things. Some cables though. Especially conversion cables of a specific length. You just have to order online, because you will be hard pressed to find them in the stores. My point is that these cable matters cables are quality made for their price point. This is my second time purchasing them and you plug them in and forget about them they work so well. The wire terminals seem to be solid and the connection terminals themselves seem to be well made. I do like that these specific cables are fairly thin and cable matters ever has thinner cables in certain connections, called the Ultra Slim cables. So its nice to know where the brand of cables that I can purchase online with out having to worry about if they are good cables or not. Trying to drudge through the thousands and thousands of different cable brands online and look at reviews is just a head ache. I will still be purchasing my cables in the store for the most part, because cables are one of those things that I usually dont know I need right up until I need it, but when the need arises for me to order my cables online, Cable Matters will definitely be my go to.

Not sutable for VR heavly movment, Normal use should be fine.
Bought this cable, due to seeing a review saying it works with the vive vr headset. I can confirm it does work with the vive vr head set. (It's hard to find a cable narrow enough to fit into the head set) Unfortunately this cable is more fragile then the OEM cable that was built for movement. After two weeks of VR Dancing and laying in VR Chat chilling the cable failed on me. If you use this for VR Vive, be sure to avoid any places that may get bends frequently in the same spot. I had a tie on the back of my head set to keep the cables behind me and that is what caused a single point where the cable would bend more frequently and likely why it failed so fast. Treat the cable carefully and you'll likely be fine. Did the cable work for VR Vive: Yes Would I recommend it to others for the use of VR Vive: If you only need hdmi and don't plan on moving about all that much, being careful with it, then yes it will work for you. If your going to be moving around a lot, laying on your bed with it, then possibly not. Cable is thin and fells like it would be good if you need that length for traveling or for setting up an entertainment system where you have limited clearance for cable width. It was easy to tell what end was source and what end was TV.

Finally... The Best
I have bought numerous cables of all kinds and started to feel tired of thick, inflexible cables (any kind). For whatever reasons, HDMI cables especially tend to be thick and super inflexible. I had a long HDMI cable, but started to malfunction. I found this HDMI cable which sounded too good to be true since this is polar opposite of regular HDMI cables. I can't express enough how happy I am with this too good to be true HDMI cable. This usually sits on a tv stand, but does not get bulky; I can easily bring it to my couch to connect to iPad to watch and control videos from my iPad without having to go to the TV stand. This has improved quality of my life - it is simply the best!

(Almost) perfect for HTC Vive
Unlike standard HDMI cables, its housing fits perfectly into HTC Vive cable enclosure and provides a good quality VR. It's not 90 degrees as the original Vive cable, so I had to reroute it to avoid premature damage. It's also a little shorter than the original cable, but I don't blame the manufacturer for any of that: after all, it wasn't meant as a replacement for HTC Vive and never advertised as such. It still works great with daily heavy use after 30 days. If it fails, I will edit my review.
