Basically an advanced 1187 with a megameter ... perfect!!
Takes a bit to get used to changing lead connections between settings so I'm still using my 1187 in tandem when in a hurry ... but it's great having a megameter and all the functionality of the 1187 ... again just getting used to reconfiguring the leads for each setting. Love it!!

Fluke Quality as per usual
Fluke has always been regarded in the electrical industry as one of the premier testing and measurement manufacturers this Megger is no different. A must have for any electricians troubleshooting especially in fields of heavy industry. My only gripe is when you pay 600+ bucks for a meter, the should include the magnetic hanging strap with it.

Unable to zero out ohms reading when compensating for test leads. Updated report.
I wanted to use this for electric vehicle testing in automotive class (I am the instructor). After contacting Fluke I found out the you must measure the lead resistance and then calculate the difference when measuring ohms. Since we are looking for a reading of less than .05 ohms this is a little annoying for a $700 meter. Firs meter I have used in a long time with no zero function. Other than that OK. After further communication with Fluke they were quite helpful and we reached a resolution that has made me change my review to 5.0. Other than the non zeroing function the meter works well.

Factory sealed, exactly as described.
Was concerned about ordering something like this from Amazon. But it was 100% new unopened and functions great. Same price as all distribution, but in stock and faster delivery. Worth doing. Will be back for more from this seller. Thanks!
