I was really pleasantly surprised by this kettle. I didn’t actually buy it for camping. I have been looking for a kettle that wasn’t bulky and didn’t have too much plastic on it for a while. Everything I found that was similar was really ugly, and if it was cute it was too small. 😩 Since it’s something that’ll be out on my stove, I wanted it to look nice but also be industrial/practical. I took a chance and ordered this one even though it didn’t really have any reviews because it was a great price, a very classic shape, the capacity I needed, and happened to come with just enough mugs for my kids (who can’t be trusted with ceramic 🤣). It’s not top notch quality or anything, but for the price I’m thrilled! It actually reminds me a lot of vintage kitchen pieces in the way it looks and is made. My only real complaint would be that the plastic part of the handle is a little cheap. But I can live with that! It makes a really cool, eerie whistling noise when the water boils, another added plus because I actually didn’t expect it to whistle. And the handle actually stays up when you place it. It doesn’t fall down at all. Overall, I’m just really impressed.

So far, I am using it for my wood stove as a humidifier. Occasionally, I make tea in a small pot and take the kettles top off and put the teapot on top.....to keep a perfect heat. The little cups I use for the grandchildren and they are delighted. A very nice shaped kettle with fine durability and many uses. A very sound buy for the price. I encountered no problems at all in it's shipping and being a complete unit with no flaws.

I bought this for camping and am happy with appearance and function. I have used it over 30 times so far. Description says it has a whistle but I have never heard it when it was merrily boiling away. As I can't whistle either it does not bother me. The cups are basic cups and do the job. My only complaint is the knob for the lid broke off. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Price point was good. I will see if I can get a new knob.

It's a water kettle...what is there really to say. This is a solid unit in a nice size. The one I received didn't have the matte finish shown in the photos. It's looks nice (i.e. shiny); however, for a camping kettle that wasn't necessary or desired. I'll live with it...the addition of the mugs is great as well. I'm looking forward to my first cup of press pot coffee this weekend while camping! Quick update after my first camping trip using this kettle. Using a campstove, this kettle heated water quickly and with it's capacity kept our group caffeinated and warm. I'm very happy with it and am looking forward to many more outings with it.

Love this kettle, it works great and I love that the cups fit inside.

It's nice, but the measurements in the dimension image are completely wrong for the kettle. We have to return it since it's way too big for what we were hoping to use it for. It seems like there was a mixup and those dimensions are what should be used for the cups.

So mad. Bought this as an outdoor kettle. First two times used it was fine. This weekend, started boiling water and noticed it was dripping water at the welded seam. Just a small crack at the seam. When I went to return/ask a question I realized the “return period” ended on 9/29. It is 10/2 today. Don’t recommend this.

I bought this for a two week adventure trip with visiting family around Alaska. We do lots of camping and cabin trips so we know how important it is to have hot drinks and instant soup snacks at they ready but I worried that our camping pot might not be able to keep up with the demand of our group of 8. I’m so glad we didn’t have to test it! This kettle was on the camp stove at every destination, and during a particularly cool rainy stretch was in use more often than not. It kept our group of 4 adults and 4 teens warm, fed and happy with a constant supply of hot water for tea, coffee, hot chocolate, instant noodles, soups and oatmeal. It pours beautifully and is so much safer than trying to pour boiling water out of a pot with a clip-on handle…particularly for the kids! The capacity is fantastic for a larger group yet it still boils quickly. The cups are fine but they’re thin and will attain the temperature of whatever you put in them…we didn’t test how quickly the handles conduct heat. We didn’t use them for hot drinks because we all had insulted thermoses/mugs but it was handy to have them as additional options for water (or wine). They do all fit inside the kettle but they rattle around making some impressive noise…good for letting the bears know you’re coming, haha! It’s very lightweight even with the cups but next time I might leave the cups at home and pack the kettle with all the drink fixings instead. Two additional uses I hadn’t anticipated: it was great in Airbnbs that didn’t have a kettle or only had a small one. Also, we have an electric kettle at home and a less than reliable public utility and this has become our go-to kettle during power outages…plop it on the wood stove then sit back and enjoy the piece and quiet with a cup of tea :) Totally satisfied with this purchase!
