Great product, as long as it is compatible with your car, like me, you just need to plug it and open a compatible app, and it works straight away. I used it with the Bimmer apps suite and it is fully compatible with my i3! Great build quality with a compact case to keep it in.

This is great! I simply plugged this device into my Ford Galaxy's port (the port is in the hatch to the right of the steering wheel on a British RHD Galaxy), started up the Car Scanner app I had installed on my iPhone, connected in the app, waited about 30 seconds for the data to load, and now I have a huge amount of info, including fault codes and real-time revs etc. The device is simple to use, and getting the results on your phone makes it clear, informative and easy to use. The bluetooth connection is easy to connect, because you don't use the usual bluetooth connection method, you simply choose it in the app (it uses low-energy bluetooth which connects easily, rather than standard bluetooth like wireless headphones etc use, which can be a hassle to connect). The device comes with no app, you can choose whichever app you want from the App Store. I chose Car Scanner ELM OBD2. This works really well. The free version does most things, but since I was so happy with it I purchased the pro version for £6.99. Combining the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ Bluetooth OBD II Scanner with a £6.99 app makes for a really cost-effective way to see your cars faults and lots of other information. I'm impressed: this is easy, useful and affordable.

I use this in conjunction with Torque Pro android app and it works great. I have created a Tasker profile to work in conjunction with this to keep track of mileage and add trips automatically to a Google Sheets spreadsheet.

J’ai acheté ce petit boîtier OBD pour mieux comprendre les voyants qui s’allument sur la voiture de ma compagne et la mienne ( Ford.Focus et Peugeot 207 ), et je suis vraiment impressionné par sa simplicité d’utilisation. Il se branche en quelques secondes sur la prise OBD et se connecte en Bluetooth sans aucun problème, aussi bien avec mon smartphone Android que sur la tablette iOS de ma compagne. ✅ Points positifs : Connexion rapide et stable, pas de déconnexion intempestive. Compatible avec plusieurs applications de diagnostic (Torque, Car Scanner, etc.). (Certaines applis peuvent être payantes.) Permet de lire et d’effacer facilement les codes défauts. Donne accès à plein d’infos en temps réel : température moteur, consommation, vitesse, etc. Compact, il tient dans la boîte à gants sans souci. 👉 En résumé, c’est un accessoire indispensable pour surveiller l’état de sa voiture et éviter les mauvaises surprises chez le garagiste. Pour le prix, c’est vraiment top. Je recommande à 100 % !

Product works great, straightforward, and easy to connect. One thing I wasn’t expecting was a paid option for the app. The free version works fine for me though no ads. Fit snuggly. Blue light stays on when cars’s off so you can’t leave it plugged in 24/7. I particularly like how you can set up a screen to monitor specific things like coolant temperature. And oil pressure. You can also record live data and play it back.
