Worth it
Like most others I was offended by the price, but went for it anyway. Our 20 a year old blue and gold macaw has traditionally been very finicky about letting us trim his nails, and it usually ended in a battle with both of us yelling LOL. Having tried all sorts of different cutters and sanding wheels and such I was desperate for something to make the experience less dramatic for both of us. I don't know why this pink sanding thing is such a miracle, but it is. Our nail sessions are now relaxed and he is not at all scared of the pink stone. If you have a large parrot and you struggle to cut their nails I would implore you try this.

Too Expensive
A little too expensive. I have a blue and gold macaw and it's hard to find someone to cut her nails bc they're scared they'll get bit. I thought I'd just try trimming her nails myself in the meantime but she kept moving around. So .. I just think $40 was a little too much.

Easily brakeable
Broke in half in 5 minutes of using it.

Not worth the money
Maybe it’s better for larger birds, but in my experience just get a cheaper nail file.

Sturdy file
Very sturdy. A bit small but it’s better not to scare your parrots and it’s pricey for a nail file but it’s okay. I Can’t wait to (try) and train my macaw with this.

Works well but not worth the price
Works just like a regular nail filer did on my African grey. Not better not worse. Nail filer is cheaper. $30 plus $10 for shipping for nail filer is a bit much

Broke in a Day
Is much sturdier than a nail file for humans, however my bird still broke it in the first day. For a $42 nail file I was expecting something ACTUALLY bird proof.
