The first thing you notice when receiving the scale is how well it's packaged and shipped. The scale is in a box with the appropriate foam spacers and then that box is shipped in a foam lined box. The scale is easy to set up and calibrate. The functionality is what you'd expect, it weighs stuff. What was amazing is I had some issues using the battery and having it plugged in at the same time and wanted to contact the shipper. Amazon sent me their contact information. Truly I didn't expect much but after emailing them in the middle of the night I immediately received an email from them and then over the next couple of days exchanged several emails. My issue was resolved. The scale is great but having a customer service department that actually was engaged made all the difference.

Easy to use and very accurate for small parts counting. We have been using this scale for the last 3 months at work to count small steel parts and plastic.

This scale is well built, and easy to use. Comes with calibrating weights rather than purchasing separately. Feet of the scale adjust, and there is a built-in level to verify the scale surface is even. The placement of the power cord plug-in is a little quirky - it is directly on the corner of the backside. The directions are a bit difficult to read in English - the translation is tricky to interpret. Overall, good quality and a good price. UPDATE: I purchased this scale about 2 years ago. I began to notice that the weight was drifting...it would loose a couple of grams after calibrating. I sent a note to their customer service, and they sent me a new one....I had it within 1 week of notifying them! I have NEVER experienced this level of customer service. So, I highly recommend this product and company. I changed from 4 to 5 stars!

I think that this scale is good for the money. Scale is not really very accurate to the 100th of of a gram since repeatability lacks somewhat. The "standard" weight that comes with the scale did not measure exactly. If gram measurements to the 10th is ok in your world, then this scale will do just fine - definitely more than enough! A/C operations plus the option of battery power is a real plus!

I have used this scale for a little over a week. It is a much needed improvement over the one I had before, which measured only to the nearest gram (+/- 1 gram) and did not serve my needs well at all. But this one has been doing much better. I have allergies and asthma and blood sugar problems with it and I use certain foods to help control these and need very accurate measurements to adequately control them, which this scale provides. I bought this scale for the degree of accuracy it has along with the fact that it can use a 9V standard battery if the power goes out. Some other scales I looked at used non-standard batteries, including some that were lithium ion batteries, that I know are prone to starting fires sometimes, which safety risk I did not want. I have never heard of a 9V battery starting a fire, so figured it would be safer. Also, 9V batteries are readily available at most grocery, hardware stores and many other outlets, whereas lithium ion batteries of the right type are hard to find. The only thing that bothers me - so far - is that when the weather is warm, after I turn the scale on, it tends to very slowly creep upward from .00 to .01 to .02 and so on. I have not turned it on for an extended time to see where it stops, but I presume this has to do with the units measuring system not being fully adapted to working at these warmer temperatures. But it is slow enough that so far it has not bothered me. I have been able to work around it as it does not take me long to get my measurement done before significant change occurs. Note that the creep of the scale upward happens even though I do not have a ceiling fan running, which can interfere with weighing. It takes only a few seconds for it to power up and is ready to use. The display is bright and easy to read. When I first got the scale, the first thing I did after it was set up was put a calibration weight on the scale. First I put it at the center of the scale. This gave me very consistent results when the weighing was repeated, rarely varying by .01 g. Then I began to put it around on the outside corners of the weighing pan. It was then that I found that the weight tends to vary by as much as .05 g when this is done. So, since then, for weighing anything, I try to make sure that my weighing container is centered over the scale weighing pan, which should take care of this problem. Overall, I think it works well.

This is gigantic and you can't even use the full space provided so if you plan to way bulk you have about a 4 inch square in the middle and even then, a single footstep my dog barking down stairs, will make ir jump around and take minutes to settle back down. The directions included are absolutely lacking and useless. The quality of build sucks and the upgraded version is fake sales. It doesn't do a teue multipoint calibration. They say they include all weights needed but there were none in the package. This is the sexond one i ordered the first was the blue model. Atleast that ones pressure plate fit right and wasn't jagged and bent up. Total garbagw for the money. Do not even consider this. Utter junk. Like i said my 400gram 2inch by 2 inch spressure plate skcale is way more accurate. And you can use the whole pressure plate. On top of that our tableis level and very high end. But i had to raise the back rear foot in order to make it not wiggle. The metal plate on top wiggles in all directions. I don't know how fhey can call this a jewelrs or lab scale. My moms old 1970s kitchen scale that uses a spring weighs better. Also the decimal place jumped. Making every 500grams show up as 50 grams. Same for every other type or messurrment from ounces and troy ounces, to karets, & grains. I guess you get what you pay for but their are sclae for $30 bucks that are better then this. It will be going back first chance i get. Avoid this brand at all costs. It may be in too 12 sellers on amazon but for life of me i can't figure out why. I got this to habe extremely accurate weighing & its just so unstable, as well as horribly designed and cheap. Plus it takes up so much room but you can only use the center 4"x4" only of the weighing plate. I had better scales for as a teen that go for around $20bucks as a teen. That didn't need major adjusting and calibration was simple & vibration proof. Evem in the higjest stable setting if unmove in your chair, or touch the tabel it bouces all around. I don't have one good thing to say about this company. Look at Ruishan scales they are much better and the directions on how to use tmare non-existant, its also atrocious english and grammer. Written in bad english. Kf you want alab quality scale or postsl sclae or jewlers scale there are way better options. This is the worst porduct i,'ve ever bought. So i'll be sending thisnpiece of junk back.

After many years of use my OHaus triples beam scale was no longer dependable giving me false readings and causing me to spend a lot of time remeasuring. I decided to go digital as the Ohaus scales now on the market are made in China and of questionable quality according to the reviews I read My primary use is measuring dry chemicals for glaze making. When testing new glazes, I start with small batches (200 grams) which this scale measures exactly and quickly. The scale was calibrated in the factory. However, I wanted to verify the accuracy and checked the calibration myself. It was exact! I am delighted with my purchase even though the scale was manufactured in China . The customer service this company provides is 5 stars plus.
