Gillette Mach3 Men's Razor, Handle & 1 Blade Refill

Got it for my son , works great .

Feels good in your hand and pivots good on your face

Its a Mach 3. Not much else to say. Good shave. This is the plastic handled version. Thats the only complaint.

It is a clean shave for my husband and for my son; they love it!

I’ve been using Gillette for at least 15 years. I prefer the men’s razor because the styles for women always nick me. I had a Mach 3 years ago but have been using a Fusion 5 for the past 10+ years. Well recently, I bought a Costco size package of cartridges but accidentally for Mach 3. It is no longer returnable and I decided it would just be cheaper to buy a new Mach 3 for $10.The Mach 3 I had years ago was metal with rubber grip and had some weight to it. This new Mach 3 is very cheaply made with plastic and feels like a cheap disposable razor. I suppose it’s doing what it needs to do, but I am very disappointed in the quality that Gillette is putting out now. It is becoming too common a trend, materials are cheaper and the cost is higher... It’s that age old saying, they don’t make them like they used to. When I run out of cartridges, I’ll go back to the older Fusion.

The original handles were nicely weighted metal. Not sure if Gillette doesn’t make those anymore or if I just didn’t look hard enough. My guess is they just make it as cheap as possible to cut costs. The lack of weight really makes a difference in the performance and feel of the cut. Feels the same as the disposable razors that you buy in a 10-pack.

I like the razor better than the discount ones advertised on social media.
