Unit stopped working about 60 days in now I cannot get it replaced it was a waste of money

They didn’t send a manual with it.

Lasted about 4 months. I just checked the system the solar panels work and the battery is good but no display.

I'm leaving four stars, because although I haven't set it up yet, I am happy with the condition in which this item was delivered, as well as the prompt shipping and tracking information provided. In reading the user reviews, I saw that a lot of people were upset at the lack of a paper installation manual, which was initially the case with me. But on closer inspection of the charge controller, I noticed a small sticker with a QR code printed on it, stuck to the top of the charge controller. Turns out, this is where the manual is found. I am going to try and do the installation this weekend, and see how it goes. Hopefully it will be ok.

My original solar power / wind turbine emergency power supply station (meant to take the place of a noisy, gas-powered generator... no fuel, no oil, no noise, no exhaust) failed after just a year. After much searching, I came upon this as a replacement component for my standby power system. Very easy to install and wire. Just be certain you measure the wire connection openings so you get the proper wire gauge. Also, the turbine icon is on continually, unlike the solar power indicator. However, the turbine icon will animate when the connected turbine produces sufficient voltage. Other than that, I'm happy with the unit.
