Ken Hom Flat Bottom Stir Fry Wok, 14", Carbon Steel

This is an excellent tool for preparing stir frys! A wok is not an easy purchase to make online. Without being able to hold it in your hands and test the weight or feel of the handle in your hand or judge the craftsmanship you don’t know what will arrive on your doorstep. I am pleased with this purchase. I reviewed many other woks online Amazon and elsewhere and I am very happy I chose this one. It has allowed me to step up my stir fry game! I recommend it without reservations!

Good for outdoor, fireside cooking! Let it splatter while ya chatter! I do recommend.

We have had this wok for a while now and it has been the best purchase we have made. I used a professional heat source to break it in and season it before using it the first time. It has been awesome since.

This wok is ruined by a poorly constructed handle. After short usage the chrome "plate" was peeling off leaving razor sharp edges, and now the handle is coming loose and no amount of tightening of the inadequate screw will correct this. Word to the wise, always look for a solidly riveted handle, and not this sort of cheap apology.

Love the handle & the weight. However, it's not round. It left a gap between the cover & the wok. If u need to steam anything it's not going to work for you. I didn't return it coz i've already throw away the original package. & again... Love the handle & the weight.

The thing that impressed me most about this wok is that it is truly nonstick. A lot of pots/pans/woks claim to be nonstick but require a lot of oil to really keep things moving. Not with this wok. I've made several curries and stir fries and everything slides around with ease, which means I don't have to overload the food with an unhealthy amount of oil. Also, it's lighter weight than other woks I've used, making it easier to handle. A good stir fry requires a lot of movement and stirring, and this wok allows that without making it feel like a chore. The shape and glass lid also make it versatile for things other than traditional Asian dishes. So far, I am pleased with this product.

Works better than the last non-stick wok I had. I watched the video and seasoned it twice, works amazing. For seasoning I scuffed it with a green kitchen scotch brite pad and soap quite well. Then put it on the stove in high with canola oil just like the video showed. Then I let it cool and went through another oil cycle. Works fantastic.
