Motul DOT 5.1 Synthetic Brake Fluid - Non-Silicone Based Formula, 500ml Bottle (100951)

High performance 5.1 brake fluid. Many race drivers use it as it has an extremely high boiling point. Can be used where 3 or 4 brake fluid has been used. Do not make mistake trying to use dot 5 because it will ruin your braking system. Make sure its Dot 5.1 I would definitely recommend this brake fluid if you want quality and high performance!

So far, so good. Replaced fluids in a Mazda where we put on slotted drilled rotors and high performance brakes. DOT 3 was in it prior. 1 bottle was more than enough for this project. Brakes are working fine.

Motul DOT 5.1 Synthetic Brake Fluit is the best on the market. I use Motul on my Ducati Monster M1200S. There was a recall for the rear brake on my model. After the recall work was performed the brakes are as good as if the bike just came off the showroom floor.

This product was packaged and delivered as listed. The project I am using it for is still in the rebuild stage. I'm sure it will work as listed. A friend of mine has used this product and is very pleased with it. He's the one who referred me to use this product.

It is supposed to be compatible with DOT 4.1. After replacing a master brake cylinder I bleed what was left in the system and used this DOT 5.0. It's been very good with a couple of months of use. I cannot say it's responsible for the great braking I now have, having replaced the brake cylinder, but it sure didn't degrade performance. I like it.

Looking for 5.1 brake fluid and prices are all over the place. With KTM, motorex is always recommended in their manuals no matter what. This stuff meets the spec for half the price. No reason to spend extra. I bought 2 bottles as I didn't know how much I would need. Well, I did brakes front and back and the clutch with one bottle and had fluid to spare. Highly recommend.

This doesn't go in my car since it requires something a little different. It goes in my SRAM mountain bike brakes. One bottle lasts nearly forever--depending on how many bikes you service every year. This means Motul 5.1 is a fraction of the cost of what SRAM is going to charge you for their "special" 5.1 fluid. Being buying this for years.
