The contoured footbed and orthotic-grade arch support lead to a complete underfoot coverage that evenly distributes the weight of the body; eliminating pressure points under the foot. Review: Pain-free and durable - Telic sandals are lifesavers for my flat feet! They felt a tiny bit snug and stiff at first, but it took just a few days of walking around the house in them for the magical material they’re made of to adapt and conform to my feet perfectly. They’re now the most comfortable footwear I own. If I wear anything else, I experience heel pain after 10 minutes. Not a problem with Telic! They’re usually more expensive than I’d like, but some styles and sizes are cheaper here on desertcart and ship free with Prime. It’s worth it to be able to walk pain-free again. One of the nice things about these is that my toes or heels don’t leave impressions in the footbed even after the material has adapted to cushion my stride. Between their dark color and durability, they look virtually new even after months of wear; they just have a little wrinkling on the sides of the soles. I have not had any trouble with the straps tearing off like another customer mentioned. The only caveat is that they’re really slippery if my feet are wet are covered in lotion. Remember to dry your feet thoroughly and wait for any moisturizers you use to sink in fully before wearing them! I also have a white z-strap pair, and my body cream caused them to yellow where they made contact with my freshly moisturized feet. They’re really easy to clean. If I’d done that right away, I doubt they would have stained like they did. These black ones still look brand new. I just stick mine in the sink with dish soap or wipe with a moist paper towel when needed. Then I towel or air dry them — do NOT put them in the dryer or expose them to excessive heat since Telic warns it will ruin the material! I stick them in my tote bag while I’m swimming to keep them out of the sun, and they’ve held up well. Review: These were recommended but... - i ordered a size 7 and when they arrived, i could see they were sooooo small. and the label on the package said XS....so disappointed

Very comfortable casual sandal
I got a size 7 and it fits me perfectly (I can wear a 7 1/2) so if you're a 1/2 size shoe wearer, I'd suggest getting the size lower, i.e.; if you're an 8 1/2, get a size 8 etc. and it'll fit like a glove. They are very comfortable and feel like you're walking on air. They give my feet good support. I really like these. The only reason I gave it a rating of 4 is that I feel they're a bit pricey.

Not the same sizing as previous Telic purchase
Did not like this new navy blue sandal because it was too short (even though same size 9 as previous purchase, pink sandal) and the front strap felt too snug (across toes) and yet too loose in arch strap. Previously purchased pink sandal fits well and material feels better, too — spongier and not as slick feeling as the navy sandal. Guess ya win some and lose some with this brand. Originally purchased pink pair to wear in lieu of bedroom slippers due to planar fasciitis. It is very supportive and works well, but wanted slip-on style without toe divider so I could wear socks in cold weather around house. Will return navy pair and resort to wearing athletic shoes around house. UPDATE March 21, 2024: What was I thinking? These sandals are FABULOUS!!!! I just kept the ones I thought were too small and they have worked out very well! I switch out between the pink and dark blue pair for wearing around the house and yard and have never been bothered by plantar fasciitis since starting to wear them. No problems in quality or comfort whatsoever. I can hardly believe I was going to ditch the navy pair. Honestly don’t think I could survive without them. I recommend this brand to anyone that asks and hope Telic never gives up on producing these quality sandals.

I sized up as recommended and the straps were too loose
I really wanted to belive that this shoe was comfortable and supportive as stated. For me, it was not. I followed the recommendation to go a 1/2 size up and found the straps on top of the foot, especially the top one closest to the ankle was very loose and sat a bout 1/2" up in the air. I do not have narrow feet. The straps are a one piece molded plastic design, not the seperate criss-cross like they look in the pictures. There did seem to be a molded arch in the shoe but overall it looked and felt so cheap and did not form well to my feet, so I returned them.

Planters fasciitis be gone!
A friend turned me on to Telic shoes when I could not get my planters fasciitis under control. I purchased a pair of Telic flip-flops earlier this year and cannot sing their praises enough. I wear them from the time I get out of bed until I go to bed at night and my planters fasciitis has disappeared. I had tried other shoes, ankle compression sleeves and medication without success. Since they are so comfortable, I decided to order another pair. The new style were comfortable right off the bat and I will switch out which pair I am wearing as I go. I highly recommend these shoes if you have any problems with your feet like planters fasciitis or just your feet and legs, feel tired at the end of the day. Although these shoes are lightweight and bend easily it’s, they are sturdy. Definitely recommended purchase.

They won’t stay on
They seemed to fit fine at first, and if they’d stay on for more than a few steps, I’m sure they’d be very comfortable. But they won’t. They feel like they hold my feet comfortable, and they look cute, and they were kind of pricey, so I’m disappointed.

High arches or plantar fasciitis? You want this shoe.
If you have high arches and are at risk of plantar fasciitis, you should own this shoe. Having lived on Maui for the better part of 12 years, you will never find me in a closed toe shoe again. These are the best I have found and were recommended by my orthopedic surgeon. They are similar to Oofos, lightweight but have a sturdier composite material in their construction. They don’t warp in heat and are incredibly easy to keep clean (rinse them off with water or scrub them with dish soap and water if they get “caked”). They don’t fade, nor do they stain. I own 4 pair (different colors) and have had the original ones for at least 5 years. A good value, as they do last. The straps are not adjustable but the shoe will form to your foot over time and not in that “painful blister” manner. They are excellent for walking, I don’t recommend running in them, nor wearing them when they get wet on the topside (though they do dry quickly or can be “shaken off”).
