Finally a warm workshop!
This has worked beautifully in my 40'x40' shop. If you have never done any metal working, maybe it would be better to enlist the help of someone who has (Pizza and beer will normally do it). Im going into my second winter with this in the workshop and I still love it. If I had it to do over, I would have added bricks/sand/(Mass) to the upper barrel. That way it would hold more heat for longer, but it really isn't an issue. The only bad thing i can say is that no matter how well it is drafting, when you swing the front open, you will probably get some smoke in the shop.

Not made for straight barrels.
This will work for US barrels but it's almost made for a wood / pickle barrel that is small at the top and bottom but fatter in the middle. The legs/feet on this do not lay flat. They are angled and have a compound curve to them to support 2 'oblong' barrels. It will work but I would shim up underneath the feet. We used high temp epoxy to give the feet more area to support the top barrel. Probably not necessary as the top barrel has no weight to speak of but we just felt better doing it. Great for the price but just thought people should know.

Worth the price with caveats
Far from precisely engineered , no biggie it a garage barrel stove. But the nuts and bolts are pure xhina pot metal garbage go to the hardware stire and get better bolts.

Will not sit flush with barrel
The legs are made of very high quality metal. The problem is that they are so strong that you are unable to bend or manipulate them to help them sit flush on the barrels. The barrels will still be sturdy, there will just be large gaps where the legs are supposed to seat against the barrel.
