Good protection for ID's & charge cards with computer chips.
These fit charge cards & driver's licenses just right. If you have a computer chip in any important ID's or cards, these prevent a stranger with a small, unseen radio frequency reading device from stealing your information & possibly your identity.Excellent for travel, especially when you can't trust all the people around you & in very crowded places...including airports. We are very glad to have them. These don't fit over passport books, you need another size cover for that.

Individual card protection
I bought these because they were separate protectors. I don't keep all my credit cards in my wallet. I hide them around. While that's a kind of physical security -- not all my eggs in one basket: steal my wallet or my purse and you might miss the hidden ones -- it's not any kind of security against electronic theft. So now each of my cards is hidden within its own protector. I had enough left over to protect the cards I keep at home. I'm having to trust that the sleeves ARE protecting, but enough reviewers have put them through a screening that I believe they are effective.

Seems to work great!
Somehow or another my credit card number had been stolen again. My guess as to where my information had been compromised is at a particular big box store where millions of card information had recently been compromised. To be on the safe side, I ordered these just to be sure. I was very optimistic after reading some reviews. The company I work for utilizes electronic key cards to open doors. After placing my card into the protective sleeve, I tried to open the door and nothing happened. I placed my card directly onto the card reader and nothing. Just to be certain that my card was functional, i removed it from the protective sleeve and then the door opened. I am a believer after this experience. The only thing wrong that I see is that they are a tad oversize. I have seen them where they are almost the same size as the card but this one is just a little bigger. Still fits into wallet though. This is a must get to keep up to par with the different ways criminals attack us every single day.

Protect your cards
This is a really cheap and nifty little product. So if you are paranoid about getting electronically pick pocketed this is the product for you. The product ships as two blister packs each containing four credit card sized RFID shields. Notably mine differ from the picture slightly as the logos are different but otherwise they seam all right. I really haven't had the opportunity to test the RFID blocking ability but I would hope they work correctly. My only complaint is that the credit card can be a little trickier to get out of the shield than you might think. Overall it was cheap and made for interesting Christmas presents.

Good Protector
I use these sleeves primarily to protect my credit and debit cards from abrasion and wear and to prevent the magnetic strips from rubbing next to each other. These are made of thick polymer plastic/mylar combination and seem sturdy. I have had other RFID protection sleeves that seem to be made of some kind of dryer sheet material that is not as strong as this polymer sleeve. Regardless, I have reinforced them with a strip of clear packing tape on each side that I then trimmed to size and this seems to make them even more durable. Overall a good product.

Handy RFID Protectors
Handy sleeves that allow perfect insertion of credit cards. Although I have a RFID aluminum credit card case, sometimes I want to down size further and only take a credit card and id in a small purse, and these sleeves come in very handy. They appear pretty durable but I have only used two (one for id and 1 for a credit card) for a few days. They are made out of a soft plastic type material yet it is not exactly plastic and it is not aluminum foil. It is a soft flexible material that is hard to describe. The packaging does not say what it is made from - probably an ancient Chinese secret :) As long as they are RFID, I think they are perfect and handy. Well worth the low cost.

Too big for wallet
These sleeves are a good idea, especially for protection of credit cards with chips, which apparently all will have by 2015.However,they are too big for the credit card slots in the "fashion" wallet that I use every day, and therefore need to be carried in some other place in my handbag, making them inconvenient for regular use. Further, they are opaque, so it is not easy to see which card is which at the check-out counter. I have two black-backed cards and need to pull them both out to see which one I want to use. But you get eight of them for a very low price, and if you have a system that accommodates them easily for you, I would recommend them as a useful product. especially if traveling abroad. .

Just what I expected.
You can easily fit two credit cards into each sleeve. I don't know if that would affect performance or not. You can actually fit three cards into each sleeve, but it is tight and will probably end up eventually separating the sleeve. I haven't found someone who has a scanner yet to test these. But, I use them anyway... When I find someone I will update my comment.
