this product can be used for many other tasks along with the grout aspect, it also is great in taking out the mortar that over spills in the tile joints for your grout prep, also can take out some of the plastic self leveling clips that don't break clean as designed product works well, good hand connection with designed grip

This little tool saves a lot of effort. The first time I redid grout, I used a Multitool reciprocating saw with the appropriate blade, and it was quite a lot of work. The second time, I tried this tool and things went a lot faster. I still needed the reciprocating saw for some spots, but mostly this worked great. Also, with the saw, you have to use the correct blade thickness, and I needed two sizes, and even the thinnest is to thick for some spots. This tool worked everywhere. I did not notice it gouging the tiles but it ripped out the grout easily. It's very sharp, and though my project was small, it seemed to hold up well (results might vary for a pro doing it every day.)

Recommended to help clear out old grout and silicone. A screwdriver and knife could probably do the trick, but the angle and strength of this tool helps. Plus it’s a good price.

The tool is very handy removing caulking a.d easy. I had sticky caulking but it removed it all. It is easy to hold.

It worked great at first, then started to get dull before the job was completed.
