Pro look & sounds, very afforadable, best all around similar kit, includes necessary accessories
In this price range, wow! The big boost I now have compared to all those desktop mics I've always just "plugged in" to my PC (3.5mm connector). This is a great price and looks very pro. My favorite add-on is the small wind screen...for me: only thing that I had to consider is the the wires are heavy duty maybe 2 or 3x thicker than regular and are long. So best thing to do is clear/clean the area and use zip ties or tuck away or use 3m tape to put the phantom power box under desk. I viewed many reviews on my Mics like this...Neewer nw-1500 mic kit is clear winner (as a package deal):* metal pieces (chrome)* metal stand; plastic tightening knobs* phantom power box; metal housing w/ blue light when powered on

Very impressed!
After several uses in different scenarios here are my thoughts...I have used this mic kit for podcasts, youtube video recordings, and recording vocals for songs. The sound is VERY clean. Surprisingly so. Mids are beautifully smooth! Bass is capable, yet not too boomy. I have also noticed it is very responsive to audio editing. Some mics, I have noticed, tend to make your voice sound warped slightly after certain levels have been adjusted. I do not seem to have that issue with this mic whatsoever.I have also noted that the mic is INSANELY sensitive. You will want to be cautious of where you record at. IE - I first started in my basement with wood floors and a wide open floor plan. The reverb was stupid strong. Made the audio sound terrible. However, once I moved to a smaller carpeted room, was borderline studio quality. I intend, and recommend, getting an acoustic panel surround for it to really nail the studio sound you may be going for.Overall, this mic is a GREAT way to for a beginner to start out doing some recording. However, it is also effective for someone doing some amateur recordings. Will it hold a candle to say, a Pearlman? Good sweet LORD no....however....not everyone can afford a $1000 mic :)

Table top mic stand is junk - the mic is not junk.
Bad = Mic stand is sub par. Doesn't weigh enough and the boom isn't secure enough. At the wrong angle - the whole mic and table stand will fall over.At a steady angle - the mic boom will retract under the weight of the mic. Conclusion - table top mic stand is literally only good for all the way down - low center angle. No good.Mic works great, i use it with a ZOOM H6 so i don't need the phantom power unit.It actually isn't as hot as the NW-700's but its nice looking and comes in nice and clear.Haven't had to use the phantom power box yet so no comment.I wanted to try their table top stands and needed one more mic anyway.1 out of 2 ain't too bad.But if you need a table top mic stand - keep looking.

Amazing Sound Quality For Price
The sound quality on this blew me away. I am a musician and audiophile (this was purchased for voice work, not music, though) and generally have high expectations for sound quality. However, for the project I bought this for, sound wasn't a great concern. The sound quality far exceeds the price, and could easily compare with mic's that I have used in the 150-200 dollar range. It probably wouldn't work in a professional music setup, but if you wanted something to record vocals or even mic a guitar for a decent sounding demo on the cheap, this should be your go-to product.

Reverb & Build Quality
It's a great microphone, but be careful. I live in a house with lots of vaulted ceiling and wood floors so there was a ton of reverb when I first used it. The problem is the mic pics up reverb in a really ugly way that gives very poor quality audio. This was easily fixed by putting up blankets, strung between chairs, around my piano. When I did this almost all of the reverb went away. The build quality is very nice, and seems fairly professional. The microphone is all metal and seems unlikely to break, but the bottom can screw off which is slightly annoying. The stand is also nice. It serves its purpose of holding the microphone well, but the bottom isn't flat so it does wobble a bit. The xlr cables came without defect and carry audio that sounds great (without reverb).

You GET what you PAY for
For the price, this thing isn't that bad*But let's start,When you first get it and set it up its relatively easy, the stand is super cheap and some parts start falling after a while. the included cables are really nice, but the phantom power, when plugged in, has this weird noise which then you can hear while recording which is really annoying, the mic isn't that clear when recorded and you can hear a lot of squeaking. If I were you I would save my money and for something better than this.

Great mic for those looking for quality on a budget!
I can't say enough about this mic! Man, it's great! I set it up with ease. (But, there's really no instruction manual.) However, it was so easy that my eight year old could've done it. I use it with my Canon T4i and it makes a HUGE difference! I mean WOW!! Thank you for making such a great product for such a great price. I bought a lighting set from this company and one of the lights don't work. But, this mic is perfect! Do yourself a favor and get the best mic for your budget!
