works with my Sennheisers + vmoda boompro mic
I'm glad this adapter exists! The adapter works fine with the vmoda boompro mic and my Sennheiser headphones. It is a little difficult to push in all the way in but it will snap/click-in with a little pressure. Just be careful when you're pulling it out from the headphones because there is a little resistance.

Sennheiser to v-moda boom pro
Allows my sennheiser 560 S to work with the v-moda boom pro. This converts the locking 2.5mm port to a 3.5mm female port so my sennheiser can act as a headset. Works well on day 1. I will update my review if it stops working or I have problems, but so far it works exactly how I want it to. Update: still great

Expensive product of cheap quality and terrible customer support
I was hesitant to buy this product because $18.49 seems like an awful lot for a simple adapter. But "buy nice or buy twice," right? I thought that at least the price meant that the product would be made robustly with quality materials. And it worked perfectly—for just over a month. Then I started losing sound in one side of my headphones. Checked the headphones, checked the cable, and confirmed that the problem is with this adapter plug. And this is just with normal use, no pulling or jerking at the plug. I thought, that's okay, products can have defects; I'll get it replaced. But unfortunately I was just outside the window of accepted returns on Amazon for this product (one month). So, I did as you would probably do, and I emailed KOKKIA and asked to exchange or a refund. It's been several days now, and I haven't heard anything back despite their guaranteed 48 hour response. I'm not typically a review kind of person, but I was so unimpressed that I had to warn others. It's an expensive product of cheap quality, and there is terrible customer support. I will be avoiding KOKKIA in the future, and my advice would be for you to do the same.

Works fine and Fits, but does not "twist lock" into SHURE SRH-440 headphones
Works and fits fine in SHURE SRH-440 studio headphones, but it is too small to "twist lock". I just used a few drops of hot glue gun to secure it permanently into headphone socket. Works great with V Moda headphone mic cable.

Sennheiser hd560s and vmoda mic
Works perfectly with my Sennheiser hd560's, but very snug on my Sennheiser momentum wireless 2's. Used for voice capabilities paired with the vmoda mic

Loose female end
Seems fine at first glance, I appreciate how little it sticks out from the headphones (senn 598). That was something I was looking for, BUT the female end is loose so that the male end connection spins loosely and freely. Not sure if I'll keep it because of this.

This totally does the job!
I don't have very much to say about this thing. It does what it needs to do and makes your headphones more flexible since it can now use a standard cord vs Sennheiser's custom cord. Had this thing for a few months and haven't ever really had an issue other than it being hard to really secure because of the port on the headphones themselves being hard to latch in. Recommend this!

Not the best
Updating my review - after a day of test, the audio keeps cutting off with just minimal movement to the adapter. Get's annoying whenever the cord moves around

Needed a microphone for my ATH-M40x only to realise that the headphones have a locking mechanism that makes it hard to just buy any sort of mic, this adapter worked without any fuss.

There is an outer casing on this that detached itself from the rest of the adapter as soon as I tried to remove it from my Audio Technica Headphones ATH-M40X. It is now stuck in the headphones. When I try to unlock it, there are some scratching sounds which I assume is the outer casing free-spinning but I am worried this could damage the headphones.
