Disappointing
These are very comfortable, with a great feature set. The only problem, as others have noted, is that they start making an electronic crackling sound after a few uses. I loved mine, so I returned them for a replacement pair when the left speaker started crackling after three weeks. The replacement pair began crackling in the right ear after a few weeks. I contacted Champion I really wanted these to work, but they don't, so I can't recommend them.

Best Range Muffs ever
The active noise cancellation is amazing, and these muffs are very comfortable. Can have the best conversations, and it is great that you can connect to your phone, answer it, etc.

Not durable enough for the price.
I've owned these the Pro Elite's for close to two years now and the electronics are failing. They still seem to block sound but constant static makes them unusable. As an active 2-Gun, 3-Gun shooter they saw a lot of use and worked well for my awareness and hearing the shooters as an RO and match director. Unfortunately, they just don't seem that durable for what are the most expensive set of hearing protection I've owned. The warranty for such an expensive product certainly isn't adequate and that alone will make me look elsewhere in the future for hearing protection needs.

operating instructions suck
operating instructions are basically nonexistent. one side of a small card. no charging instructions except plug it in. annoying tone when lowering or raising volume. small stuff but for the price annoying. quality feel, nice head band.

Definitely not sweatproof...
These things are almost perfect. I've owned a few sets of electronic earmuffs and these by far are the most comfortable. Noise cancelation works for the most part although the wind still remains a problem. Sound amplification is great and some of the best I've experienced. The Bluetooth works without a hitch although the audio quality is definitely nothing to write home about. The speakers have a faint muffled static like what you'd get out of a pair of cheap headphones. Now onto the main flaw: sweatproofing. After about an hour of wear I started getting a loud static crackle and pop out of the left muff and had to remove the foam cover to see what was going on. I don't know what genius in the design department thought it was a good idea to leave all the electronics exposed with only a single piece of electrical tape to hold the wires down but this is by far the dealbreaker. I've only worn these twice and both times I've had to take them off after about an hour because they're shorting out. Their customer support doesn't seem real interested in helping me solve the problem either because I emailed them almost 3 weeks ago with no response. If I wasn't past my 30 days I'd return them. I'm instead stuck trying to figure out a DIY waterproof solution.

Do not purchase
I obtained a pair of these when they first were released. I have had five years of dependable service without issue. However, the recently purchased pair pails in comparison. The sound level will not adjust down low enough for the muffs to drown out any noise so you will need to turn them off to get the same effect, which is not ideal b/c you cannot listen to music or podcast while the power is on b/c it is just like not have a set of muffs on. Example is lawn mower sounds just as loud with power on as if you did not have muffs on your ears. I would request refund but has been over a month since purchase. I should have tried them out sooner.

Distorted and tinny sounding. My $60 Howard Leight electronic muffs put these to SHAME
Distorted and tinny. Erratic sound transmission. I have three pairs of $60 Leights, one $60 pair of Walker and ALL of them work better than these. Now I’m having difficulty returning them. I won’t say “rip-off”…yet…UPDATE- I was NOT ALLOWED TO RETURN THEM. Now I know why.

over rated
The most expensive electronic muffs out of 10 I've purchased. They are good but no better than many I've had for less than 100.00
