Great oil at a great price for a good volume
This oil pleasantly surprised me. I'm typically an olive oil user, but with the soaring prices of oil lately, I needed something a bit more financially sustainable and I needed a lot of it. I started noticing how much oil we were using to cook eggs, which are a frequent part of our diet and was getting tired of paying ridiculous prices for such small quantities. This oil has been a good alternative, and with a volume of 5l, it shows no signs of needing replacing and it has made many omelettes since purchasing. What I especially like about this oil is the added flavour and crisp is gives to most food. This oil crisps up and browns an omelette in a way that olive oil just never has. It has added a lot more flavour to rice and it's also been good for preventing food sticking to my "non-stick" pans when cooking. It's similar to most oils in terms of texture, it's quite light and runny and doesn't tend to solidify when left overnight, so disposal is a bit of a pain; I tend to mop it up with kitchen roll and then bin it. It has a very inoffensive scent and doesn't really smell strongly of anything to me, just a very stereotypical oil smell. Great quality, value for money, and will buy again.
