Plug 'N Play for Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux 20.04
Update Jan 25th, 2023 So I've had this card for a few years now and it just keeps working. I continue to be happy with my purchase and did in fact purchase a second for another machine. Adding some comments: -- Am now running Ubuntu Desktop 22.04.1 LTS -- Linux Kernel 6.1.8 -- Continue to get highest wifi speeds my Internet Service & WiFi router deliver -- Bluetooth continues to be flawless Every Linux Kernel upgrade has been flawless and there has been zero issues with compatibility for this card and Ubuntu Linux. Same for Windows 10 with latest updates 2H2022 and Windows 11. Highest wifi speeds and bluetooth connectivity continue to work as expected. Update Nov. 25th, 2021 -- Confirmed works perfectly with Ubuntu Linux 21.04 and 21.10. Card was picked up seamlessly. -- Confirmed works with Linux Kernel 5.15 also. -- Works with Windows 10 21/H2 update perfectly. -- Windows 11 also picked up the card and installed it with no issues. Summary: If you're looking for a WiFi & BlueTooth card that'll work seamlessly out of the box for Linux up through 21.10 and Windows 11, you should consider this WiFi card. I continue to be very satisfied with having purchased my first of two almost two years ago now. It's been rock solid. Update June 30th, 2021 I ordered and installed my second of this card in my Linux Server. Works flawlessly! Works with Linux 21.04 perfectly. It also works with Win10 and the new Win11 Preview Edition. You will not regret buying this card. ** Update June 22nd, 2021 ** This card works on Ubuntu Linux 21.04 with Linux Kernel 5.12.xx flawlessly. If you're a Linux user and are looking for a stable, reliable Wifi card -- this is it. I've been running with it for over a year now and have gone through several Ubuntu Linux version upgrades and numerous Linux Kernel updates all flawlessly. I've experienced zero issues with this Wifi card. If you're a Linux user, rest assured this Wifi card works well. Now my original review of this card: I purchased this card after reading reviews that stated it works with Ubuntu Linux 20.04 as that is the desktop I run. Ubuntu 20.04 w/kernel 5.4.x picked up the card and installed it right away. Did not have to locate a driver online, compile and install manually. It just worked. Just for giggles, I popped in a separate SSD and performed an Ubuntu 20.04 install from scratch to see if the install would recognize it. It did. Saw the card, I selected it, put my WiFi password in and off the install went, downloading updates as well. If you're looking for a blazing fast WiFi card for Ubuntu 20.04 - this is absolutely it. No muss, no fuss, it just works. I also have a Windows 10 boot disk in this computer so I booted Win10 to see if it'd pick up the card automatically - and it did. No surprise there. Conclusion: Solid WiFi card for Ubuntu Linux 20.04 and up to kernel 5.4.3 Same for Windows 10. I may buy another just to have a spare. Update June 3, 2020: I'm noticing some reviewers are reporting that the Bluetooth works for them but the WiFi does not. There's a simple explanation for this: you're installing the card in the wrong slot on your motherboard. The Bluetooth gets its power from a separate connection (USB) on the motherboard, thus the "bluetooth works, wifi doesn't" reviews. Before returning the card as "defective" please make sure you install the card in the proper slot first. If in doubt, it should be the slot closest to the processor (on many motherboards.) Hopefully this helps those who purchase the card and don't know the difference between the "short" and "long" slots on their motherboards. Update Nov. 6th, 2020: Had this card a few weeks shy of 6 months. So far, working flawlessly. I've updated my Linux Kernel to Ubuntu 5.8 and am having zero issues with this WiFi card. I'm purchasing another to go into a legacy AMD FX-8350 build so I can connect it wirelessly with Linux also. I've also updated my WiFi router to a TP-Link WiFi6 model and the wireless speeds I'm getting back to my router are blazing fast. Fully taking advantage of the 300mb Comcast internet connection I have. Very happy with this adapter.

Easy to install and supports high speeds
I bought to replace the junk wifi and bluetooth USB dongles my computer came with. The wifi bluetooth combo is nice because can use one PCI slot for both. My computer is a small form factor but no issue smaller plate was included just had to move antennas(8mm nuts) and two philips screws to switch plates. Then plug wire into usb header on board and into card and insert ino the smallest PCIi slot you have screw both antennas in back then install drivers from disc., I did get a message saying install failed for wifi drivers but it had worked saw the wifi icon in taskbar and connected to 5ghz. Thats it, may sound like a lot but took about five minutes from start to connected.. Both blue tooth and wifi worked first try no issues and able to max out my internet speed same as if wired connection around 300Mbps which is my provided max speed.

Easy to Install -- If you have an open USB plug with pins on your motherboard
We recently moved to a house that did not have wired Ethernet, so we purchased two of these WiFi cards. Both worked well with standard 2.4GHz WiFi or the newer, faster 5G version. (Bluetooth also worked, but I immediately disabled it.) The antennas give you strong reception from opposite ends of the house. However, I felt lucky that I 1) knew my way around the inside of a computer and its motherboard and 2) could recognize a USB plug on the motherboard. While the card goes into a PCIe slot, it also includes a cable that needs to be plugged into the USB plug on motherboard. (Just for clarification, this is NOT the standard USB port you have on the outside of your computer.) My desktop had two free ports but my wife's only had one, so you may want to check availability before you buy this unit. Finally, once installed, my wife's PC booted fine but I had to go into the BIOS and change the boot set up for my PC. It was trying to boot form the new UBS device, which I thought was unusual. An easy fix, but again, requires a bit more computer savvy than I expected for a simple WiFi card. In the end, all is well and the product works very great. Just be warned: if the idea of opening your computer case and messing around with plugs and wires freaks you out, then I recommend you get a model that plugs into your external USB port.

Works well!
I bought this to help alleviate a situation where my router had to be in the room below my office and I couldn't run cable through the floor to hardwire my computer in. My old card was some off-brand piece of junk that was serviceable before I moved into my new house. When I moved in it just could not stay connected to the 5ghz network because of the floor between my PC and the router, and for some reason it wouldn't allow me to connect to the 2.4ghz network at all. Since getting this new card I haven't had any issues connect to either the 5ghz or the 2.4ghz networks in my house. It was easy to install, as most network cards would be, and the antenna are massive! At least 3 times larger than my other card. Pair this with a good router and you can probably get a decent signal across the street! Well worth the money!

Extremely reliable and performant, been using for 3 years
I don't write reviews often, especially for things I've bought years back. But out of the blue, felt a sudden appreciation for this particular part of my PC I was pretty skeptical using a Wi-Fi adaptor on a gaming PC back in 2020, when most people typically opt for a wired ethernet connection for a robust connection. But here I am in 2023, amazed by how well and surprisingly robust this adaptor is, for it is still kicking to this day. This Wi-Fi adaptor has yet to fail on me and has successfully delivered fast internet speed for whatever games I played on whatever network I was in no matter how far I am from the router, reasonably (I've moved around a ton). I feel that this is something to praise as most people I know who have tried to use adaptors, had theirs fail on them shortly after. In addition, the bluetooth feature on this adaptor has worked satisfyingly for my Apple Airpods to which I use on the daily. Though, the connection doesn't really reach as far as I'd like, but still isn't too much of an issue

Easy to install
Was as plug and play as you can get. I did have to download drivers to get it to work but it was easy to get set up. Bluetooth and WiFi work great has good range and speed right out of the box. Great option for the money.

TP-Link is a Great Product I’ve used for Years
Over the years I have used countless TP-Link Products and have never been disappointed, This Wireless PCIe card is no exception. Plugged into a PCIex1 slot on my HP ProDesk 600 G2 Micro Tower which has Windows 11 version 24H2. Installed the Driver which I had already downloaded from the TP-Link Website, left no in product description. It does come with the touch ny driver CD, but most of us don’t have CD/DVD optical drives anymore. So I installed the card, though the l my usb flash drives anymore I had downloaded the driver on and installed it; entered my WiFi password and works great. It is dual band; 2.4 and 5 GHz. In which I’m using the 5GHz. Band.
