These beans take a long time to soften but they are delicious .... have a pecan flavor if you do not add any spices. I love them.

These beans were really nice in a chili I made. They are not like regular black beans though so they are more firm and toothy than regular beans. Great flavor though.

The seller was very prompt at owning up to a mistake and refunded money for the poor quality beans. I was hesitant at asking for a refund but was pleasantly surprised at the friendly staff! I will buy from this seller for sure.

I soaked these for 24 hours and cooked them - they did not soften even after several hours. They are basically inedible and they are not returnable. Very disappointed with wasting $20 on this product!

Probably bought the wrong type of black bean. It will grow bigger as it is been boiled, twice as large than other black beans I had ever cooked, yet after 6 hours of cooking, it is still hard and not burst open! Keep it just in case I run out of other beans.

I need to make germinated soy milk. Almost all the beans I buy can germinate, but the germination rate varies. I really don’t know what the problem is with beans that don’t germinate for several days. This is weird, I'm worried about GMO issues or keeping it too long,

I unknowingly ordered these thinking they were black beans, alas I was wrong. These are not regular black beans. They are a Korean black bean with green kernel, also known as a black soybean. They have more of an edamame texture and consistency. I made them into a soup with vegetables in the crock pot and they weren’t bad, just a funky texture. Wouldn’t buy them again.
