This review is for RXBAR Protein Bars, 12g Protein, Gluten Free Snacks, Pumpkin Spice, 22oz Box (12 Bars). I really like RXBARs for a few reasons. I like the all-natural ingredient list, the flavors, and they are filling. I've been consuming RXBARs on a regular basis for years. This pumpkin spice is one my favorites. It has a good ingredient list, like all RXBARs I have had. But it has a really good flavor. It's a perfect balance of pumpkin and spice, and it is not overpowering (some pumpkin flavored items I have had over the years have just gone to overboard on the flavoring, usually when it is too much spice). Pumpkin is the main flavor with just the right amount of spice to enhance the pumpkin flavor. I also like that this bar is not that sticky. One of the downsides to RXBARs is they can be very sticky, particularly they like to glue themselves to your teeth. So, I always need a lot of water when having out to get it unstuck from my teeth. I should also mention that RXBARs aren't dry. There is some moisture content in them, so it's not like you are trying to consume dry granola that makes you parched and makes you need water. It's very common for me have an RXBAR on me or near me, and that probably won't change any time soon.

Love the natural ingredients. This seasonal flavor (pumpkin spice) was great. I only wish they'd cut back on the dates, which I find too sweet and gooey.

These bars are simply amazing! I can't lie, I am a sucker for anything pumpkin spice. Prior to trying the RX bars, I was a devoted Quest bar fan but after comparing the ingredients on both products, it was clear that this is the better alternative. I changed my diet recently in an attempt to eat, "clean" and these fit the bill. No artificial garbage or fillers. One of these will fill me up for several hours. I honestly feel like I am cheating when I eat one of these because they are that good! Other reviewers have commented about how chewy they are and this is true. However, I think it depends on how fresh the bars are. I have encountered both soft and chewy bars when purchased on Amazon and locally. Maybe this just varies by different batches---not sure on this. Regardless, this doesn't really bother me at all. These are super handy to grab and go when you're on the run. They don't crumble, making a mess in your car if you're eating on the run! I have tried all flavors of this bar and this is definitely my favorite. Sure, they are a little expensive but you are getting a quality product that you can feel good about eating!

I'd seen these at Trader Joes before and wanted to give them a go. Pro -Good portable, "clean" paleo-friendly food -Relatively inexpensive considering the ingredients -Taste pretty good, not sweet but not dry either Cons -I have IBS and these make my stomach hurt within 20 minutes of eating them every single time -Consistency is weird. It's not chewy like a Lara Bar but it's not crunchy like Kind bars. Example: if I use my fingers to break off a piece, it's really hard to do because of the consistency. Food gets stuck in my teeth because of the texture. If you're a "weird texture" person, you don't be able to eat this. Overall: -I would not buy again because of my digestive issues, which makes me sad, but someone without IBS could maybe handle it.

We have found RXBars are one of the best protein bars, I try to keep a couple of boxes on hand. A great snack, a lite breakfast, aftnoon snack, low in calories!
