Want a replacement screen to wipe up the tears of your broken phone and your wallet? This one will wipe your tears and break the bank. However, it is worth it! This is the Cadillac of replacement screens. The creme de la creme. Easy install. You know if you know how much that means with phone repair. Beautiful screen once installed. 3d touch works perfectly. Looks just as good as the original! It has already survived a few throws, a few blows, and a few other things. It's survived being owned my girlfriend's supernatural abilities to lose it every 5 seconds and inability to keep it in her hands. Please see my pop-socket review to see how I cured her of her fumbilitis. Overall, great kit. Provides great tools I have used over my precision toolkits. Watch the video and you will be good to go within a hour max. If it takes you longer than that, take it to a shop and have them charge you labor on fixing it.

OMG! I did it without glitch!! This kit is fantastic, it comes with everything that you need to swap out the screen. Forget the written instructions it's very small print and pictures, use the VIDEO instead it's complete and easy to follow. I cannot rave more about this product and my experience with it. I saved about $50 from I was quoted to have it professionally replaced. Take it slow, especially when removing the camera/sensor assembly to swap it to the new screen. There are a number of sensors all tied together with a ribbon wire and a very small/delicate clip that cost me considerable time to seat it right. My daughter is a happy camper again. Screen works... but freezes every couple minutes, asking for replacement.After a few minutes, 2-5 minutes the screen becomes unresponsive, however I know the screen is still working because if I adjust the volume with the buttons on the side of the phone, the screen displays the change. In order to get the phone responding again, I must turn off the phone and turn it back on using the power button. Only then will it begin to respond to touch again.Update: I was sent a replacement and the screen is working as it should now, quite impressed moving to 4 stars for initial disappointment.

The screen I changed by myself is quite different from the one I bought before. The color is close to the effect of the original screen. When driving with sunglasses for navigation, I can see both horizontally and vertically, while the screen I changed last time can only be seen vertically. Note that when you buy without accessories, the front camera component of the handset is not included. You need to dismantle it yourself. Personally, I feel that the external screen is also relatively solid, because there is no problem when I drop it after replacing it. The screen of this Apple is quite solid, and everything works well after installing the screen. The price is also very good. Quite satisfied.

Screw drivers were not gripping the screws at all. I can’t speak on the display yet because I have yet to replace it.I am ordering additional tools to get the job done.Update: The replacement has been installed for over a week and the picture and brightness are great. The only problem is the display has sensitivity issues. My touches are constantly not recognized. This makes using the keyboard extremely frustrating. Tap to wake almost never works. Swiping from all sides of the screen never works first try.Overall, I’m extremely disappointed especially considering I paid $100 for the display. I hope I simply received a defective product.

Wonderful item perfect fit

Overall not happy - can I live with it yes but the screens sensitivity is poor compared to the original Apple. Its hard to "wake" by touch consistently, the screen stops responding at random intervals, scrolling up and down with a finger works but the display "lags" by a few milliseconds making it seem slow when trying to fast scroll. It also has a jitter effect by which I mean if you hold a finger t the screen and want to scroll back/forth across a page while not taking your finger off the screen its slow to update. IE the page jumps instead of smooth scrolls. The overall touch sensitivity issues are common enough to be noticeable most of the time, its certainly usable (if annoying) but its not where I'd hoped the quality would be.
