Ok, so this is a short term review. Just received these 36” 1/2 inch threaded pipes and I used them immediately for a home project. They are threaded well, sturdy for craft type jobs, or light duty home improvement projects. I bought some connections to connect three sections of the 36” pipe for a long curtain rod going across a garage door. It worked, slight sag due to the rod (3 pieces) being over 100+ inches, but no fault of this product. Pipes seem to be manufactured well, not plumbing grade material, but strong enough for projects at home, etc. So far they have held up well for my project!

These are great threaded pipes and perfect for my project. I am using them to build a sleeping platform for the back of my Jeep Wrangler. They easily screw into pipe flanges I got for it. The color is also ideal so it blends in.

Product was as advertised. The work great for making shelves or end tables. I built an end table for my office out of the pipe. I have ordered black pipe before and what I really like about this product is the threaded section is shorter and so it makes for a more uniform length when you add on the elbows and T connectors, etc. It also means that less of the thread is showing after you complete the project. Given the product is for shelving and furniture (at least what I ordered) it is lighter (still very strong and sturdy....it is not cheap) and easier to work with. One big benefit is it is PRE PAINTED black. If you like that color you don't have to do any painting. other black pipe needs to be cleaned off, lightly sanded and spray painted which adds A LOT of time. For this project, the black color was perfect and no additional painting was necessary. Great products.

Meh, this is light and thin compared to black iron. I think the manufacturer stated there is difference but failed to highlight the substantial divide. I would look at the weight to provide a hint. These are NOT suitable for a family dining table unless you are only eating salad. Other than that……they well painted and exactly the length identified. I would say they could function as small lightweight shelves. I will keep them but not for the application I wanted them for.

Good product. Arrived in good shape and was as described. Should the need arise I would purchase again.

"Industrial Steel" is a misnomer. These pipes are not intended to for use with cabinet clamps or any type pressure piping system. They are thin wall seamed rolled sheet metal. I was purchasing cabinet clamps and I made the mistake of selecting these based on the "Frequently bought with..." selection without thoroughly reading the description. There are intended to be used for decorative purposes or light weight applications (i.e. towel rack) not to be used for any purpose that requires (i.e. pipe clamps, hand holds etc.) Threaded thin wall pipe will fail when used for any purpose that puts stress on the threads. I gave the one star rating in regard to the mechanical purpose I mistakenly bought them for. If I had purchased them for decorative uses I would giver the a 4 Star Rating with the caution to be careful using pliers or pipe wrench to tighten the fittings because the paint scratches easily.

Do not purchase these for woodworking pipe clamps! These pipes are more decorative only - thin wall and slightly under diameter. Sadly I tried to use them and scratched them in the process or I would have returned them. If your goal is decorative, then they will probably meet your needs. Lesson learned.

These were perfect for my project. They fit well with attachments from different companies.

Great for making entertainment units, coffee table etc. Will last lifetimes and you can change the wood you use 2. I used 6 and 8 inch ones
