This is thin plastic. Bends very easy and it also creases. Not good for a desk top protector.

I purchased this simply to put on top of my desk to protect the wood from my pens, coffee, and keyboard. It is extremely thin (about equal to the thickness of a rigid smartphone screen protector). It did arrive with a few small pock marks (it's not expensive, what'd you expect?) It lies flat if you wipe down the surface with a damp rag first and then run a dry towel across first. This leaves just enough moisture to form a temporary bond that then dries in place. Be sure you are working in a clean environment when placing it down as the static electricity will attract everything and then you'll have stupid lumps.

I purchased this plastic overlay to go with the same company's desk blotter. The plastic piece was too big to fit the blotter and has to be cut. The paper label on the plastic did not come off cleanly and looks terrible. I asked for a refund and received one. The desk blotter is nice. I will purchase a better quality plastic piece.

The clear plastic cover is what I needed for my desk to cover the desk calendar I keep there. I have so often accidentally spilled food, coffee, water on my papers and there is stays. So the cover protects the calendar and any other papers I put under it. It is a large size so it covers a lot of area. The only thing I didn't like was that it is so thin, unlike the think, pliable vinyl cover I have in my other office. HOnestly, I have to say it still does the same job and I am satisfied with it.

Arrived in a long rectangular Amazon box. Unrolled and placed desk slightly roll-curved side down; over a day it flattened out nicely. Leaving the protective film on both sides, cut to exact size needed, removed protective films and slipped into the sides of the 'old fashioned' desk blotter. Worked perfectly, looks great: it's shiny and very clear, which is what we wanted; no mars or wrinkles. I used to be able to get this at art stores or blueprint shops, but not for quite some time. We are very happy to have found this to replace an old, broken apart one. Thanks!

Not nearly as thick as expected. I bought 2 for use on 2 different desks and layered them over each other on 1 desk and it's still not very thick. If you're worried about dents on a nice wooden desk that could still happen. Aesthetically they look pretty decent. I wouldn't pay more than $2 per piece if I saw this in a store. Came packaged with thin plastic film which was nice/protected it from getting dirty.

Think of these as large overhead projector sheets. Though they were mailed in a large box (so that the sheets were laying flat), they came bent and puckered. It's almost like whoever boxed them pinched them like you would pinch a page in a book to turn the page. So they are permanently damaged and do not lay flat. Very cheap product. Would not recommend.
