CLIENSY 4HP 4 Stroke Outboard Motor Boat Engine, Heavy Duty 55CC Boat Motor with Air Cooling CDI System

I have it on my pelican boat. I cranks up every time. Perfect little motor. I got it up to 9mph against the current. beats the heck out of the trolling motor I had on it. Battery kept running down. I filled it up with gas and only used 25% of it. Great buy! NO CAP!

I got this motor for my small jon boat ran it one time it got to missing real bad,we stopped and fished for 30 min and boom it was locked slam up ran good while was running but shouldn't have locked up that quick and after taking the motor off the boat and setting it in the boat for the ride home all the oil leaked out through the air filter.

This is a nice little motor for getting up an down our little river. It is not a 4 HP. My 2.5 HP Mercury does about the same speed. It is nice that you dont need to mix the gas. I dont have to worry about the kids messing up the mixture. It is on the loud side but after a few years it is still running well. I did have to beef up the throttle spring but besides that runs great for the price.

All fluids must be checked and filled. No manual.would be handy to say the least. Starts first pull (when I remember to turn the switch on / kill switch off. Easy on fuel. Lots of silver in the fluids at 4 and 10 hour service, now all fluids are clean. Clutch is sprung a little heavy making slow maneuvering tricky. Rotated engine 90 deg from the lower assembly to point exhaust rearward, much easier on the ears. All in all I'm not disappointed with performance or reliability after 20 hrs of operation.

I had problems with both motors. I ordered one returned it because the Propeller quit spending received the replacement boxes damage, and the motor was also damaged pieces were broken off. Overall, it’s a good motor from what I can tell!

Works great no worrying about batteries just bring a little extra gas in a can, goes all day.

Terrible product! Brand new item had a stripped out bolt hole, which prevented the prop. diff. Gasket from sealing. Would not hold gear oil. I fixed that issue, but the engine would not start even with hours of trying. After many back and forth communications with the seller , I discovered that my order did not include a crucial part for allowing the motor to run. So not only did their Q.A. miss a stripped out bolt hole with oil leaking in the box, but also forgot to include crucial parts.

I bought this motor as a back up motor for my motorized boat. I finally took it out for a test drive after little about 4 weeks. My onboard also stopped running and so I engaged my back-up (this) motor. This motor broke down after about 5-10 minutes of working and we were stranded on the lake. I contacted the seller and they offered me a discount to take it to a repair shop. Unfortunately, I let them know that the repair would cost more than the motor cost. This back and forth caused my order to go out-side the refund period, but. I contacted the seller and they made good on the warranty (one year) and sent me a replacement motor. While the motor is not very high-quality (but then it not very expensive, so you are getting what you pay for), the seller stood by their product and warranty. I appreciated this. Thank you.
