Nice rope.

Seems to be a fine-quality static descent rope. We got the 10mm diameter. The end-loops didn't fit into our plan for using the rope for knot-tying practice initially, and then later for practicing rap technique in a safe environment, so I proceeded to cut the whipping. As it turns out, the whipping is done with very heavy nylon, essentially string, and it survived several slices with a box cutter before finally giving up and separating. Even when one half of the loop had its whipping fully cut, the loop was still quite strong though obviously no longer suitable for life-or-death usage. The thimbles are cheap plastic but should help to protect the rope from abrasion if you use them. The included biners are sharp, unfriendly, and kinda janky. They went into our accessory biner bin. The rope itself feels solid and well-made, and easily supported 180 lbs of static weight. I have not performed any abrasion testing but it's tough and seems to be of good quality for the price.

These have held up well so far!

I did not use this rope for climbing. That being said I have had this rope outside in the elements for over a year and it shows very little signs of wear. The color hasn’t faded much if any at all. Worked perfectly for what I needed.
