I have heard so many good things about using charcoal to whitened your teeth and I have wanted to try it for a while now. I have been using this product for about 4 days and it seems to be really whitening my teeth! I was worried about the taste at first and it’s actually very mild. I’m not a big fan of overpowered mint and this practically has no flavor really which I enjoy, but you still feel like your teeth are clean when you are done! It is a little messy but that is with any toothpaste you just notice it more because it’s black 😉

More like tooth sauce than tooth paste, very runny. Think difference between tomato paste and tomato sauce. Pros: Dark color allows you to see where it all really goes when you spit out in the sink. Watch out for your white t shirt. Don't know yet if any real benefit of the actual product.

I was hesitant to try this toothpaste, but have heard such good reviews on the activated charcoal for whitening purposes. I was not disappointed. I love this toothpaste, and am going to continue to use it daily. I was nervous about the taste, but it actually tasted better than regular mint toothpaste in my opinion. With this one, the minty taste was not too harsh, but still gave a freshened feeling in the mouth. It is a little freaky to see black on your teeth while brushing, but the end result is worth it! Another thing that I was pleased with, was that it was easy to clean. I had dropped some in the sink and went about my day, when I used the restroom a bit later I was worried that it was going to leave a dark stain, but I just ran some hot water over it and it came right off. If you're thinking about trying out this product, I definitely recommend trying it!!

For years Perio Brite pleased and satified my oral cleaning requirements so I assumed the activated charcoal version would do even better. Well surprise! I'm returning to the original. S M Singer

I use the acrivated charcoal toothpaste but haven't tried this brand yet., reason I only marked 1 star. I would love to try this brand one day. Mine is in a jar and is black powder. Activated toothpaste does make a difference in whitening and removing stains from your teeth. I did some research and read you should use it 4 to 5 times a week. I use it daily but only 1x a day and brush with regular toothpaste the other times. Love the kind with mint flavor! Be sure to purchase the black colored paste or powder. I have tried a brand with grey powder and did not think it did a good job of cleaning my teeth.

Bought it locally not on amazon, very fluidy so it falls off the brush easily. Activated charcoal in it which is actually harmful for the teeth (search up scientific journals about it) and has "fluoride-free" as if that was a good thing. Teeth started hurting instantly after using this and the charcoal gave me stomach cramps. Waste of 10 bucks
