Great paint with wonderful coverage. Revived my old shed!
Very happy with this. Some say "One coat" isn't enough, but for me it ALMOST was. I'm going to do an extra coat, but I could easily leave it the way it is and be happy.Paint felt thick and applied nicely on top of a previously painted, tired looking brown shed. It's given it a new lease of life. Colour is dark, as expected from the shade we chose and the matte finish looks classy. Coverage was as predicted next to the estimate. Will be buying some more for the fence.

I’m impressed with the results!
Our summer house was looking somewhat tired, so I decided to give it a make-over. I did quite a lot of research beforehand and decided that ‘THE ONE’ paint offered all that I required: paint and primer in one, good coverage, water-based, quick drying, non-toxic, attractive colour choices and so forth. I purchased the 2.5Ltr tin in satin brown. To use you simply prise off the lid, give the paint a thorough stir, then go to work with a brush or roller (I used a single brush because I had some cutting in to do around the glass windows). The paint is fairly thick, so I could have gotten away with just applying the one coat. However, I decided to give two coats to my rather weathered summer house because I think the wood needed that extra bit of protection - it’s worth noting that there was enough paint in my 2.5Ltr tin to achieve this. Overall, I’m very pleased with the quality of this paint and will definitely be ordering some more in future for further projects I have planned. Highly recommended.

Good paint, just be realistic iabout coats required and how you interperate the colours description.
I ordered satin "off white" assuming it would be very slightly creamy in colour but it was not, it was actually very "white" more like brilliant white? howver it was not a real issue for me.Also, it is marketed and named "One Coat" but it needed a minimum of 2 coats (could have done with a third coat) as the aged oil based white (creamy) paint was still very visible after 1 coat and barely visible after 2 coats. (The previous paint was sanded and cleaned appropriately prior to re-painting).NOTE: That it does state it acts as a base coat and "first" coat in one, so technically not a "one coat" paint. The paint was very easy to apply and smoothed out on a horizontal surface to a nice even finish with barely any brush strokes visible.Virtully no odour.Drying time was acceptably fast enough but in reality longer than 30 minutes.I used just under half of the 250ml tin to paint a very large 1.8m x 0.9m antique mirror frame, so happy with the coverage, which would equate to about 1 square metre of surface area, which is about as advertised.Overall i am quite happy with this paint and would use again, mindful that it needs more than one coat especially if it was to cover a dark colour.Hence one star deducted for the colour not a expected from the description, but accepted that it doee not specify clearly in what way the colour is "off " white? it certainly was not a creamy white.

Exceptional paint product
Whilst this paint is quite expensive it is worth the additional cost as the finish in terms of opacity and adhesion are definitely better than conventional paints.I used to paint my poly block top work bench and it came up like new ! Not many paints will adhere to plastic but this does and with no primer required , so a cost saving there to help reduce the overall cost of the paint system.Drying time is very fast - 1 hour in the temperatures we have been experiencing this summer and best of all - easy clean up as this is water based. So re coating as the bench top gets marked with use is not a major undertaking- 10 minute job as they say. I was very impressed with this product and would use again .

Two coats - Job done!
This is a very good product, but if you are used to non-drip it may be a bit confusing to use. I chose a slate gray colour for skirting and architrave. I was already painted in a fading brilliant white so it was easy to see the how I was doing. The first coat showed lots of brush strokes but dried quickly, so by the time I had got all rouond the kitchen I could apply the top coat. As a primer it looked like this was going to be a bit of a battle but applying the top coat was easy it gripped the surface covering all the orginal brush strokes and then dried to a subtle sheen. The small tin went a long way and I still have plenty left should it get knocked. You can't work this paint like a liquid gloss, but because it dries so quickly it didn't run with and the second coat I made sure it wouldn't need a third. If there is a brush mark, leave it for a couple of minutes and then lightly go over it. Job done. Easy clean up with water and fairy liquid. Would buy again!

Great paint and coverage
I purchased this paint to cover a plastic framed mirror which was lilac. The coverage was great and was very easy to use. I gave it a second coat just because I'm fussy but one coat would have been fine. The results were great. It has a smooth finish and is highly pigmented. I have give the frame a coat of clear wax, again as I am fussy but probably didn't need too. It goes along way too. I am very happy with the results and would recommend this paint.

Really disappointed.
Can I just start by saying how lovely the navy blue is. It was the perfect colour, just not a perfect paint. I had used V33, (brilliant paint), but couldn't get navy, so opted for petrol blue. I didn't like the colour on my kitchen cupboards so got this one. Firstly, it's runny! So you need to be aware of dripping. It took 4 coats to do my cupboards! Even though you don't have to prep, I did. Washed with sugar soap, lightly sanded etc. and still 4 coats. Made sure it was even and layered it off and shows streaky still. Touch it when dry and leaves scuff marks. Would never use this again. I'll stick with V33, they just need more colour choices.
