Beats a traditional curler ten times over
I hesitated for a long time on buying one of these precision curlers because people seem pretty keen to rate them poorly for silly reasons like "it's not a traditional curler" - like.......okay?? Finally decided to look past the shade and get this one. I'm so glad I did! I've got straight AF eyelashes. They're long enough in their own right I guess but they just go straight down. And aside from beauty reasons I want to be able to easily curl them every day because it keeps them out of my eyes!! I'm so tired of my straight lashes getting stuck to each other top to bottom and/or getting lodged under my eyelids and also obscuring my vision. Stupid anatomy! But for the life of me I just never could figure out how people use traditional curlers. I could never seem to get all my eyelashes in the curler at one time no matter what I did, and then I'd have stragglers hanging even further down into my eyes, or edge lashes getting caught weird and clamped into a Z shape, and it made me so mad! Or even if I managed to get most of the lashes in there, the traditional curler always always just pushes them all up toward the center of my eye, which looks really weird on me. I look like a muppet afterward. Anyway, rant aside, this tool fixed all those issues for me. I can get all my lashes in the clamp, and I can go a section at a time which helps me curl the outer lashes more outward, and the middle lashes more upward, which I feel gives them a more naturally curled look. The curler is easy to hold onto and easy to press. I love it so much, that I'm now going to go throw my traditional curler in the garbage. Woo!

I’ve been looking for a tool to curl false eyelashes!!!
I have a really tricky time using a standard eyelash curler- my eyes are rather small, so the normal eyelash curler ends up pinching. This tool has been so helpful curling my natural lashes! But it’s even better for curling your own strip lashes! I love curling the ends of my lashes to give my false eyelashes a more fanned out look! Absolutely the best tool if you wear false eyelashes! 10/10 I’ve been looking for something that could curl false eyelashes! Can be kind of tricky to use at first because of the shape but once you figure it out you’ll love it!

Difficult for beginners, but that's also my fault for not reading the entire name of this product.
This was my first pair of eyelash curlers like ever so don't take this to heart as I'm just a beginner, or do take this to heart if this may also be your first eyelash curler. The curler itself is pretty small and doesn't cover the entirety of your eyelid, which I assume is for precision. This means that curling your lashes might take a while. It's pretty easy to curl the middle part of your lashes because it's the longest, but getting to the edges is difficult and I don't bother trying to do them because it can be painful. Even when curled to its max, my lashes don't change significantly but I do have small lashes (this product is for small lashes so like I don't know at this point). It curls your lashes and if that's all you want then this product is good.

Doesn't curl lashes + difficult to use + painful = total disappointment & waste of money
I shop at Amazon a lot since the pandemic, and am very rarely dissatisfied; often I'm downright delighted. This purchase is not only one of the very few downers, but is probably the worst of those few. I wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews instead of doing a wishful thinking numbet and discounting them because I wanted to believe the positives reviews, because for me this not only doesn't work, but is difficult and painful to use. I found it much more difficult with this curler than with any I'd previously used, to calculate when the curler was close to the lash roots but not at risk of pinching the lids-- and when I missed, the absence of a rubber "bumper" on the top part of the curler meant I paid dearly in pain points-- yeowch!!! Much worse than with any other curler I've used. And, if risking pain and bodily injury wasn't bad enough, it doesn't curl my lashes-- not even a little bit-- which led me to want to squeeze extra hard in an effort to see a result-- not a great combination, the need to squeeze harder and harder to try to get a curl, and a heightened risk of injury and pain from accidently clipping the lid with a thin, unprotected piece of metal, when it's so easy to do. Bottom line, a total loss-- disappointment + waste of money. P.S. I'm adding this a few days later because I checked my other lash curlers and realized that it's not just this one that has rubber only on one of the two surfaces that come in contact with the lashes-- they're all like that, and I just never noticed because the previous ones never hurt. In trying to figure out why this one hurt and others haven't, I've come to the tentative conclusion that it's because the others are so much bigger, that the curve of the curler prevents, for me, the curler from getting close enough to the lid to pinch as this one kept doing unless I was exceedingly careful...and even then I couldn't keep it from pinching. So I guess the difficulty and pain I experienced is due to the nature of half-sized curlers...and maybe I'm a klutz, or just have trouble that might go away with practice. Still, I won't get that practice with this curler, because the fact remains it didn't curl my lashes...and I still haven't figured out why others do, and this doesn't. Meantime, I tried Amazon's BeMyLady usb rechargeable electric eyelash curler and it was really great, so I'll probably stick with that.

May work for you, didn’t really for me.
Didn’t really work. I was hoping it would work. I love my other revlon curler, but it can be hard to get in my inner and outer corner without pinching my eyelids.

Meh
I bought this eyelash curler to curl the short lashes located where my eyebrow begins (near the nose). My Shu Umera eyelash curler is too big to get to those little lashes. This works okay, but I prefer the “Seki Edge Spot Eyelash Curler (SS-600)”. The Seki is easier to hold. Regardless of which eyelash curler you choose, I recommend getting a magnifying mirror to help you see the lashes. It’s easy to pinch yourself, so practice by curling the larger, longer lashes first until you get a feel for where the curler clamps down. I get the best curl with the following: 1. Turn on and preheat an electric eyelash curler 2. Curl majority of lashes with a regular sized eyelash curler like a Shu Umera curler 3. Swipe on a layer of mascara. Clean the brush off and clean it off again before you apply it to your lashes. If you put too much mascara on at once, it’ll be clumpy and hard to iron out. 4. Pick up the heated eyelash curler and apply to the base of the lashes. Wiggle it into the lashes and then slowly bring the heater up towards the top of the lashes. As you near the top of the lash, push the lashes towards your eyelid so you form a “C” shape. 4a. Instead of a heated eyelash curler, you could heat up the metal part of an eyelash curler with your hair dryer and then curl your lashes. Be careful: the metal can become very hot. I recommend heating the metal part up with the hair dryer and then gently touching the metal part to the back of your hand to gauge how hot it is. If you apply a hot curler directly to your eye area and touch your eyelid, your natural reflex will cause you to jolt and you could possible rip some lashes out (double owie). 5. Go in with the Seki curler and curl any little hairs that were missed. Apply a teeny bit of mascara and then go in with a heated eyelash curler to lock in the curl. I find that my lashes won’t hold a curl without using a heated eyelash curler. It’s like trying to curl hair without using a curling iron/heat.

Nothing works better for short lashes!
I have always had short lashes and started wearing false lashes when they came out with the clusters and the Bond & Seal. It was the only thing that worked for me. I not only have short lashes I have small eyes, so a regular lash curler was almost impossible to use. To many times I pinched my own skin, Ouch! Then I saw this Precision Curler by Revlon. It was like "Oh Wow! Why haven't I seen this before?!" It really is a game changer for me. On the days when I simply do Not have the time or maybe I just don't feel like it and I don't want to use false lashes I can pull out my trusty new Precision curler where I can really get in there all the way down to the base of my lashes and then follow it with my new Maybelline Sky High Lash Sensational (for short thin lashes like mine, it's awesome at lengthening) and I look as good as if I were wearing my falsies! The only difference is that this is just a one day thing. I can wear false lashes for up to 3 days. But the curler and mascara route is only good for one day. Still it is Great if you are in a hurry or just to tired. Last thing, I find that if I use this curler before I put my false lashes on, it is much easier to get them into place right where I want them so they look and feel better. This curler doesn't look as if it will ever wear out, but if it does this will be the one I purchase again.

not worth it
it does grab corner lashes but it does absolutely no curling so i don’t see the point of buying such expensive lash curler. just stick with cheap normal ones.

It does its work!
I really like being very precise with my makeup.. and this thing serves me just right! Especially when I put fake lashes on and I want to blend my real lashes with the fake one, this does it nicely and makes my life easier cause the mascara doesn’t do much when I want to lift my lashes up. Though for daily use, I’d recommended using the normal lash curler cause this one is less stable when you want to curl your whole lashes (not only the corners). Though this one works amazing with the stubborn lashes in the corners that won’t be lifted.
