Great stretch!
Our son was recommended this to help with scoliosis. It’s a great product. The cushion is very compostable. The sway on the stretch bar is a great addition to this item. The length is adjustable and it’s pretty easy to use.

This is overpriced for what it is, UNDERPRICED for what it does
I'm a middle aged desk jockey that occasionally suffers from tight or acute lower back pain. Stretching usually helps but that takes days to relieve a bad pull. The construction of this is a little junky, so out of the box I thought "well that was wasted $80, I could have made something similar for $20". While true, this is actually a screaming value. The adjustability is important to finding the right stretch to pull on whatever muscle is tight and causing the back pain, and it only takes a second to change the length. The results are MAGIC, and this can stretch upper back/shoulders, lower back, thighs and calves. My son runs track and is shaped like a cross between a chimp and giraffe, it takes him 2 seconds to adjust the stretcher to do his calves after I've been stretching out my lower back. Best $100 I've spent in a long time (even though it is only $5 COGS).

Needs updates to make it better, otherwise a decent device
This is a great device to stretch your upper back. It gives your thoracic spine a distraction/traction stretch. However the foam pads could be softer. They hurt my quads when putting force through the handles. Also, I wish the handles could side bend. The updated model handles say they can rotate, my older model does not, which may make a difference. Would be willing to purchase again if they made these updates in a newer model.

Perfect rehab tool.
Hubby is using this for rehab therapy post stroke based on recommendation from therapist. We opened box and he set it up and was using it within five minutes. Easy for one armed man to adjust and use. Most important, it does a superior job on external shoulder rotation and stretch, which is almost impossible by any other therapy techniques and even the best just doesn't come close to the stretch you can get with this tool. Yeah, it's pricey for simple thing but it is a big help.

Well made
This one I purchased here is the same brand and nearly identical to the one my physical therapist uses.

Miraculous
I have arthritis in my left knee and persistent bursitis in my right hip. I tend to be in a lot of pain. I saw that this stretcher claims to stretch the hips and I (foolishly) thought it would stretch my hip flexors. I'm not really good at orienting things in space, so it didn't occur to me that it would clearly only really stretch the back of the body. When I got it, I was definitely impressed that I only have to use the second shortest setting (I'm 4'10"). I think I did a little too much at first, because I hurt myself a little. Now, I just use it to assist with my butterfly stretches twice a day. If my hamstrings start acting up, I do that too. The bursitis has reduced from feeling like knives stabbing from my groin all the way to my knee to a mild intermittent ache in my hip. My knee pain is much better, too. This thing is way expensive for what it is, but I don't regret it a bit.

Disappointed in seller
While putting it together, I noticed the holes weren’t big enough, so they had to be drilled bigger. Not a big thing to do, but when you pay that kind of money, you expect it to be shipped in perfect condition. I like the product but am disappointed in the seller. My PT guy knows the seller and the seller didn’t do a thing.

Over rated?
Other reviews for the Medi-Dyne CoreStretch Exerciser have been glowing. I'm happy for these owners, but I am not as enthused. The device will help to stretch the back and shoulders, even the hamstrings, but after the first few basic recommended stretches, it is mostly a matter of repetition even though the instruction sheet illustrates different "advanced" stretches. For this reason I think it is very overpriced; hence my mediocre rating. If the device were $30.00 rather than $60.00, I'd rate it somewhat higher.
