Low effort planting. I'll buy more.
I mixed this with some NPK and Lime, and tossed it on the grass a couple days before a heavy late-summer rain. I put some lightly used chicken bedding on top and mowed very low to settle it in. It turned out to be planted way too densely, but to my surprise, it kept growing. Now it's about 3 weeks later and hunters are pushing deer I don't recognize across my little plot a week before the first season opens. The deer that come across my spot are stuffing their faces without caution, so it must be tasty or rare in the area. They aren't going for the corn and apples that I threw down yet. Just this broadleaf "Winter-Greens" stuff. Oh, I also put some chicken scratch feed in with the mix in order to distract the birds from stealing the expensive seed. These had some sunflower seeds that actually sprouted and came up. The deer top those on first sight, but it's a great boost to potential forage for cheap. I certainly recommend it, if you already have chicken scratch grains or birdseed on hand. I'm going to save it to my list so I can get the same one next year. I'll also get a handheld broadcaster so I can make a bigger plot, and more evenly. The quality of these seeds is great.

Great winter food plot addition
Have used this a couple of times now in my food plots. I only had 1 out of 4 not come up and that was due to a severe drought just after planting. The deer will hit it hard right after the first frost. Food in winter means deer in the freezer!

Grew well
Good product grew well Just a little pricy for what you can’t get it at the local farm store for.

Amazing
Like every Whitetail Institute product this stuff is amazing. Very little ground preparation and it took right off. After only two weeks it is already a plush carpet of green.

Seems to work well
I put several different Whitetail Institutes seed products on my greenfields at the same time so it's hard to tell what's doing the best. But I have deer eating on the greenfield every day and night all year long.

Great Foodplot
This stuff is great. Germination rate was great and this stuff is so good the deer are already eating it up it before the frost has come to turn the leaves sweet. I recommend planting more than planned because the deer will eat this up. Still three weeks to season opening and I’m worried they might eat it all up before then!

JUNK
JUNK, third time I’ve tried imperial, never again! As a reference point, I till and plant three 1 acre plots each year in SW Missouri, two of those plots came up GREAT, imperial = NOTHING. Two GREAT plots were seeded with Deer Creek Seed fall brassica mix. Deer creek is MUCH more consistent and reliable, deer were on it immediately upon sprouting!!
