3M Virtua Safety Glasses, Blue-Frame, Blue-Lens

These lightweight, very inexpensive tinted glasses replace my ancient, square "high school woodshop" style ones. They look much more like sunglasses than safety glasses.These are far lighter than the old-style, and the springy arms hold them firmly to my head without any pressure. They comfortably fit both my large-sized male noggin as well as my girlfriend's much smaller head. They sit very close/flush to my face, perfect for safety glasses.Outside in moderate sunlight, they work as sunglasses, but aren't too dark for indoor (daytime) use. I found sunlight shone in the top of the glasses since the lenses are narrow and not highly curved like most normal sunglasses. No light leakage from the sides or bottom.The material looks cheap, and the coating seems like it will surely end up scratched, but for the very low price here, I can hardly complain. Highly recommended.

These are lightweight and comfortable to wear! I use these as sunglasses in my car for these reasons: 1) Light and comfortable to wear 2) They don't block my peripheral vision 3) They are safety glasses and may actually protect my eyes in the event of an accident or something smashing into the windshield. 4) If I jump into the lake and forget to take them off and they sink to the bottom....I DON"T CARE (since they are only $5 a pair)I will never buy an expensive pair of sunglasses again.

Arrived on time. Comfortable fit. Well packaged & intact. Owned several of this brand, style & color over the last 7 years. The blue coating on the lenses used to be a better quality but they are excellent safety glasses overall and the price is reasonable. No problems, NO Regrets. Money spent wisely & well. Will buy again if available on Amazon Marketplace. Thank you!

What more do you want from safety glasses? They are light, so they are less likely to slip off even when you sweat. The coverage of your visible area is great for me - almost nothing at the top and very little on the bottom. I admit I have a large skull, so some sunglasses are tight around the temples - but these are fine. The way it curves around the sides before hinging is nice as well - you don't feel like a horse with blinders on like some other safety sunglasses. That feature makes them a little bulky to carry around even when folded, but to me it is worth the extra visibility when worn. I can't speak to their durability or scratch-resistance, because I just got them and haven't dropped them yet. They look good as well - assuming you like the wraparound-style look (but since you are here, you probably do). I would say they are hard to beat for the price, although if they were polarized they would be my only pair of sunglasses.

Using these as my protective eye wear in surgery. They fit up close to my face to protect from splashing, but they don't fog up from my breath. Lightweight and good retention without squeezing your head makes them easy to wear for hours at a time when you can't be reaching up and adjusting them. Plus, the reflective finish means nobody else can see where my eyes are going ;-) No idea of impact resistance performance, that's not a factor in my use.

These are a nice low cost pair of sunglasses. I lose or break sunglasses regularly so I never buy expensive glasses. I can use these for several years before I end up scratching them in a particularly visible spot and decide It is worth it to buy another. I have probably 3 sets laying around the house. I primarily use them while riding my motorcycle or bicycle. They work well to keep the air out of my eyes, including at the sides and they are durable. I have never broken a pair, though I have scratched them up. I would definitely recommend them and will certainly be buying more in the future.

These are a great knock about pair of glasses considering the price. They are super light and fit very close to the face providing maximum blockage and protection.

Not only do they make you look like a boss they also offer quality eye protection as your beating women off with a stick; seriously the babes are drawn to the luxury and sophistication that these shades provide.I purchased a pair at the local Lowes for just under 8 buck and was impressed with them as regular sunglasses not just as safety glasses. So I ordered a second pair here. My only "complaint" is that the pair i got here had less reflective coating on the lower part of the glasses. Still an A+ buy for the price and quality.
