Grex G-MAC MAC Valve with Quick Connect Coupler and Plug

This is a high quality MAC valve with a quick connect. I could feel the weight and quality of it when I opened it. I replaced an inexpensive valve and it has been a good decision. The Grex G-MAC valve has a large wheel which makes for easier more precise adjustments. The action is smooth. At no point did this leak. The valve changed the air velocity with excellent control. It even fit with all of my quick connects (I use five different air brushes, including an IWATA eclipse and Eclipse HPC+). I have it attached to a moisture trap at the end of my hose. This makes it fast and easy to switch airbrushes. And it means all of my airbrushes effectively have a MAC valve. I can use the MAC valve in lieu of adjusting the pressure on my compressor for minor changes. This is solid, precise, easy to control and does not leak!

This is the best airbrush Quick Connect coupler with Mac Valve that I’ve tried. And I’ve tried quite a few. Most were prone to leaks, and the small Mac Valve left something to be desired. I’m thrilled to say that this is not the case with this particular coupler. It works flawlessly with absolutely NO leaks whatsoever. Highly Recommended!(And please do not even listen to the reviewers that give this product 1-Star due to “blemishes” or “imperfections” or “spots” on the chrome finish. Seriously, it’s so blatantly obvious that those “spots, imperfections, etc” are actually part of the GREX LOGO! I mean, come on now! What a shame that an amazing, well made product would get bad ratings because some people mistake the brands LOGO for “flaws” in the finish. Their logo is literally on the packaging as well. Gotta be a clue! Right?)

I had to replace my last G-MAC because the hose it had been attached to gave out after 10+ years, and the G-MAC had, from what I can tell, had bonded on a molecular level.Most MAC units last a month or two, G-MACs last decades. If I could have got it off the old hose, I'd still be using it.Grex nailed these.

This device allows for quick and easy changes to which airbrush you are using at te moment, or to be able to disconnect the airbrush for any required disassembly for cleaning, etc. I will buy 1-2 more for all my airbrushes and hoses!

Product arrived way faster than I expected, which was an extremely pleasant surprise.I haven't actually used it yet, but I can already tell that it feels like a very well manufactured. It's surprisingly heavy, the knob rotates smoothly, and the machining looks clean and good quality. I'll update the review after i've used it a bit, but I'll be extremely surprised if it has a problem.It fits very nicely on my H&S Evolution Silverline.Edit - updating after a couple weeks - it's been perfect. It does exactly what it needs to, it feels great, etc. It's certainly a premium price but the quality is top notch.

Love it! My third one so far and I will be getting few more because it works much better than the ones built-in on some of the high-end airbrushes. First, the size of the knob that regulates the air is what makes all the difference; any other knob I have tried is too small thus difficult to get a good grip on and operate comfortably. Second, the section where the knob is attached to the quick-connect swivels, allowing you place the knob anywhere you want: right, left, front or back - an excellent feature for anybody, left- or right-handed. Worth the price, without a doubt.

Great quality. Quick and easy to use. No more loosening and tightening the air hose to the airbrush. Just easy snap in and good to go and a simple quick release coupler. The reason why i gave it 4 stars is because the air pressure knob isn't correct. When turning the knob to the plus side, it actually decreases air pressure and when i turn it to the minus side, it increases air pressure. So i am not sure if it is just this one or there was a mistake and this is how they were all made. It hasn't caused any problems though. Just be sure to test it out before filling up your airbrush with paint. Also make sure you use thread tape on all the threads before screwing onto the airbrush. If you have this same issue then just keep in mind that the air pressure knob is reversed.
