Excellent product. Strong and reliable unlike a lot of the detachable carbon fiber rods out there
I go to Costa Rica a lot and fish and I don't check in luggage I travel light and this is the perfect size fits right in my guitar case and a gate check it. I've bought other carbon fiber rods from different companies and they all sucked. They were brittle and they would break especially if you got into a big fish or maybe you were hung up on the bottom and you were trying to get it loose. This rod is strong. First thing I did was tie it to a 25 lb dumbbell and give it the old one two and it never cracked or made any noise. It's a great Rod I highly recommend it

Well worth the money!
Surprised how well this held up to surf fishing. Fits in a suitcase which was a huge factor!

Snapped
Very portable, but ended up snapping on a fairly small fish. Glad we had it in our trip!

Light, strong, sensitive.
Light and strong. Feels almost as good as a one piece rod. Perfect for travel.

The best travel rod ever
2023 update: =========== The zip was broken recently, cannot secure close the case. Manufacturer should get rid of zip and have some another solution for case cap. Still absolutely love the rod. Original review: ============ I would give a 5 stars if 8ft casting version will be a bit lighter. Bought this rod with KastKing Zephyr BFS Baitcasting Reel - I would recommend this combination. Update after 1+ year usage: ====================== 5-STARS!!! I LOVE this rod. Works perfectly with a spinning reel (the balance is better with a spinning reel). I will buy a 10ft spinning rod a bit later. I have this rod in my car trunk all the time ready for fishing :) All you need is a good reel and a few mops for fun bass fishing.

Strong enough to catch King Salmon
Designed for a level winder it still works well with a spinning reel and casts a mile (almost).
