Good protection in a slim, light form factor
I have to chime in, partly in response to some of the negative reviews I'm seeing here. First, some background:I've been an iPhone user since 2007 and went through many iterations before finally settling on the Incipio Sicrylic (prior model that included a silicone insert with a hard outer shell). Nothing else had the combination of slim profile with decent protection against "light trauma." I treat my phones very well - always stored in a pocket with no other items in that pocket. Even so, I have a 3 y/o who loves to play with my phone and has since before he could walk - enough said. I / he have dropped my phones a total of no more than 10 times in the past 6 years, usually from a low height (3-5 feet) onto a hard surface at fairly low velocity. This case can handle it. My wife's phones have seen FAR MORE abuse and have never had any issues while sporting the Incipio Sicrylic style cases, despite being dropped way more than mine. The cases, of course, showed much more wear and tear than mine, but in every case they lasted until the next upgrade (we are usually on a 2 year cycle). Given the changes in form-factors that often occur, this is sufficient durability for most people. So along comes the iPhone 5S and my wife and I are ready to upgrade our 4/4S devices. Of course I turn to the Incipio design again, this time with a re-branding as the Dual PRO. I paused slightly given some of the reviews here, but went ahead and I am certainly not disappointed. Here's my breakdown:Look/feel - Wow, this is an amazing design! The outside hard portion is slightly slippery but is NOT prone to scuffing/scratching if you treat it the way I do (see above). It also appears to be machined/molded incredibly well and is quite flat. For example, put the phone down on a hard, flat surface (metal or fake wood works best) and you can actually feel a tiny layer of air being squeezed out in between. When you go to lift it, there is an ever-so-slight degree of resistance as you pull it up off the surface. Smooth like butta...very cool. The soft inner portion feels a bit tougher than the Sicrylics I've used in the past, but doesn't pick up lint / dust at all.Function - The bottom gives adequate access to the lightning connector and headphone port for most uses, but it IS a thick rim. I can confirm that you cannot use the short 30-pin to lightning adapter with this case on, though you can use the one that has a couple inch cord/dongle just fine (which is the one I purchased). Also, thin headphone cables, such as the ones on most in-ear buds or the PSB M4U2 (my favorite high-end noise cancelling headphone), will work but thicker ones (think Grados) WILL NOT. Touch ID works just fine without any issues as to the volume and power buttons. The mute button is inset quite a bit and requires two hands or long nails to flip. The camera cut-out is adequate for most uses but be aware that it does appear to trim the full range of the flash just a bit.In summary - for people who want decent protection against "light trauma" in a slim profile - this case fits the bill. It is slim, light, slides very nicely into pockets, doesn't nick/scratch when cared is taken, and doesn't pick up dust/lint. Look elsewhere if you like to flick the mute button with one hand and don't have long nails, if you need completely clear access to the lightning connector and the headphone jack, or if you are bothered by a slight truncation of the size of the flash.

Great case for the iPhone5
Put this case on last night and am very happy with the purchase. I'll make a few comments, which probably will be consistent with what others have said:*The case fits the iPhone5 extremely well. Both pieces went on easily but still fit snugly. The volume buttons and the sleep button work as well as if there were no case. The muting toggle switch is easy enough to access although it's recessed in the case. Access to the Lightning connector and headphone jack is unimpeded with the cutouts in the case (which also expose the speaker holes).*The profile of the case is definitely slimmer, more attractive, and less clunky than the OtterBox (which I was able to check out because the salesperson where I bought the phone had an OtterBox on his). I can't comment on the degree to which this affects the protection offered by the case given that I have not dropped the phone today. But from a looks standpoint, this is a great case - I bought the all black version and am happy to have done so. Doesn't mess up the aesthetic of the phone too much.*The feel of the case is somewhat rubbery but smooth. I'd say it offers a good degree of grip without being sticky in the hand or in the pocket. It's funny, but the phone without the case almost seems a little too slim now, especially when texting.*The case does attract lint and such from my pocket. Not an ungodly amount but something I'm sure I'll have to clean off now and again. I'm not sure whether there are any cases out there that don't have this issue. And I'm guessing that the all black color of the case makes it somewhat more noticeable.*Even though the case ships with a screen protector, I paid attention to the other reviewers and ordered a 3rd party screen protector (Tech Armor) and I'm glad I did. The protector that comes with the case seems less well designed and doesn't provide as much protective coverage compared to the Tech Armor. However, I didn't try to install this one and it may very well go on smoothly for those who try it.*The case did not cause problems with the Tech Armor screen protector. I know some cases can cause problems with screen protectors, but this one is fine. The screen protector stayed down easily and everything fits nicely.*The case also ships with a small, folding, plastic stand. I'm not sure I'll get a lot of use out of it because I don't really use the phone to watch video while sitting at a table. But I tried it out and it seems to do the job. I'm not sure how well it would hold up under a lot of use, because I can see the plastic weakening over time where it is scored to bend into shape. But that's irrelevant from my point of view.*The case comes with a screen polishing cloth as well, which will come in handy I'm sure.Overall, this seems like a well-designed, solid phone case at a very reasonable price (half of what I would have paid for an OtterBox, which seemed to be the primary competition). Good fit, seemingly solid protection, and a nice look. I would have bought the case even if it didn't come with the included (and very average-seeming) screen protector and plastic stand, so I'm not going to factor those in to my overall highly positive review. If I happen to drop the phone, I'll update my review with any comments about the protection offered.

The case is very nice, I'd give 5 stars without any hesitation
The case is very nice, I'd give 5 stars without any hesitation. However, the description and pictures are confusing. There is an 5c version and 5/5s version if you carefully look at all pictures you'd notice some slight differences. I've got iPhone SE and I ordered 5/5s version as suggested by reviews. However, the case design was like in 5c version. This was a bit frustrating but the case fitted well. This is why I gave 4 stars only.

Works as advertised. Really protective but bulky.
Does make you phone really bulky but oh boy does it protect you phone from all kinds of damage.I dropped my phone more than 50 times from shoulder height and it survived with no scars. The matte finish plastic on the outer shell does chip away eventually revealing a glossy black plastic beneath that doesn't feel as good to the touch.Highly recommended if you keep dropping your phone and want to stop that from causing serious damage. A bit on the pricy side but this is money well spent.Your phone will feel like an old TV remote for a few days with such a bulky case on, but you'll get used to it quickly.Used this case for a little over a year now. Moved on to the OnePlus 2 after the iPhone 5.PS: Please rate the review if you found it helpful. (or not)

Good buy
My third Incipio case for various versions of I-phone. Really protective inner silicone case and decent outer shell. I've dropped my phone a couple of times and it has escaped unscathed with the protection the case provides. Unfortunately, the outer case matt finish coating started to come off. I contacted the seller who replied instantly and sent me another case very quickly at no charge. The new case so far is not looking as though this will happen. Really impressed by the service.

The best case and safest
In my mind the world best case for an iPhone combination of soft impact rubber and firmer plastic prevents most breakages. I dropped my phone numerous times in this case and while the case has broken and I had to replace these about every five months it is far cheaper than replacing the phone. They are quite difficult to get hold and suspect there will become impossible to get hold of the four in due course. This is by far my favourite iPhone case and wish they were more readily available.
