Knorr Vegetable Bouillon Cubes, Pack of 12

Vegetable Bouillon This product I have used for years now! It is so hard to find the vegetable bouillon in stores. The vegetarian broth mixes that stores usually shelve, are nowhere near as delicious as this broth. Do you struggle with finding vegetarian soups or ramen? It is hard to find ramen soups with vegetarian broths, so the way I solve that problem is I use the noodles and use a bouillon or two instead of the packets they provide. I use this broth for almost everything I make, I am the only vegetarian in my household, and I use it for all the meat eaters as well. I use it in sauces, drink it as a broth, marinate meats and vegetarian proteins, crumble it up and mix it with other spices in cooking. I could not be a bigger fan of this product. Product The product comes individually wrapped in small cubes inside a cardboard box. Since this is bulk, it came with all of the boxes wrapped together in plastic which is much nicer than having a dozen little boxes floating around and potentially getting lost. Pros • Taste • Price • Versatility Cons • Hard to find in stores • Would like larger cube options or larger packages Summary I would recommend this product to everyone and anyone. It is such a great way to speed up cooking and it has such a good flavor that most people love it, even if your cooking isn’t so great! As a vegetarian, I honestly do use this product all of the time.

Update 12/24: The packaging changed on these (older on top of photo) but the ingredients are nearly identical (a couple changed places in the ingredients list). If they're different in flavor, this review will be adjusted. Update: I ran out of these again and was really happy to see that they're still available at a great price! Original Review: I'm a long-time vegetarian who has tried many brands of stock and broth cubes over the years. This Knorr product is my go-to for all of the soups and stews I make. They dissolve quite readily and keep a long time in the freezer. One of the things I like best is that, though sugar is listed as an ingredient, they are not at all sweet.

Love this veggie bullion. I use hot water and it makes a nice warm drink on cold days. It's also great for cooking.

This is the most delicious vegetable broth I've come across—better than all those bulky boxes of vegetable broths and stocks that pack our cupboards. I used to routinely boil my potatoes in water flavored with chicken bouillon instead of salt. When I switched to Knorr vegetable bouillon, the broth remaining after the potatoes were removed was simply too good to discard! I froze it in quarts to use for homemade soups. Unfortunately, Knorr vegetable bouillon has completely disappeared from grocer's shelves in my city. I contacted Knorr, but they do not sell retail, and my grocer could no longer order it from his chain. Amazon to the rescue! I had to order in quantity, and I was prepared for a long wait while it shipped from Greece. But it was here in only 7 days! My old Knorr boxes were code dated, but these are clearly dated June 20, 2022–very fresh. I'm back in business.

This Winter I have been making a lot of soup in the crock pot and the flavor of the bouillon is wonderful.

I love this stuff! It adds great flavor to so many dishes. I add half a cube to my black or pinto beans and it really elevates the flavor. It's great in soup, gravy, rice, stew, beans, anything. I definitely need this in bulk. Also it's quite salty, so it usually means I can forego adding salt to a dish if I use this. It's great for vegetarians like me.

Knorr clearly didn't learn its lesson, after changing this recipe over a decade ago and eventually having to change it back, due to customer demand. They have once again RUINED this amazing product and, worse, I've bought from this vendor before, and they haven't disclosed that, and sent me the new, disgusting product. I thought perhaps just the packaging had changed, but I made Vegetable soup the way I ALWAYS make it, and first in the pan is the water and cubes. I noticed it STUNK to me - strong Celery cent, which is one of only two vegetables I hate. Made my soup like normal... Not only was it much more flavorless, but there was a disgusting fat coating on the roof of my mouth. So not only does the vendor not disclose this recipe has changed: It's non returnable! I managed to get a refund from Amazon, but I don't see it as much motivation, for the seller to be more honest. DON'T BUY THIS. KNORR, GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER! We didn't want it, then, and we don't want it, now!

Excellent product and have used for years. My bad for not reading the ingredients- please note that Mono Sodium Glutamate. (MSG) is used.
