Q: how long is the rope?

Each side measures about 10" long, its a standard tricep rope you see at any gym, not the longer version.

Q: Can anyone please tell me if this rope has the rubber ends bolted into a clamped on metal piece or just cheaply screwed into the ends of the rope?

The rope ends are sheathed in a metal piece. No bolts, but it seems well made. It's either the same as the ones I've used in commercial gyms or very close. I've had no issues.

Q: Wonder if I could use this bar for pull ups by strapping it to ceilings

Well, it's a very solid bar, I'd believe you could easily do pull ups on it... But it would depend on how you intend to strap it to the ceiling. I hook it to my cable with a carabiner.

Q: The bar is sticking like when you go for a rotations in a curl movement it’s like it needs some type of lube ?

Put a few drops of three in one oil in the little hole. Rotate a few time it will be smooth.
