Overall a great upgrade. The extruder upgrade is very solid, and hold tension much better that the original. The tubing upgrade is a must have. You can feel the difference as soon as you pick it up.Downside of this upgrade is the dampers. First there's only 2. On top of that the only one I could use was on the extruder motor. You will need a mini press to remove the gears from any of the axis motors. Unless you have the screw on gears or have the press you won't he able to use these right away. You can 3d print a press tool and go get the bolts for it a a hardware store, this is what I did. This should have been noted, but for anyone handy its really not a deal breaker. Now I just need to order a few more dampers to finish the machine.

as per other reviewers, the extruder arm/mount garbage,,, non threaded, the included plastic bushing is IMPOSSIBLE to thread without a tap (i'm assuming i gave up trying to use heat and a pressure fitting) the dampeners are nice and the capricorn tubing is nice. probably look elsewhere if you want to "upgrade" your extruder. half of this was "bonus parts" to me anyway, but you could probably save money by not buying this kit. again. the extruder hardware is WORTHLESS, unless you hate yourself.

This kit worked awesome for me bought this as a day one upgrade for the ender 3 pro it installed easily enough I did not end up using the motor mounts but the kit is worth it just to save money on the 3 most complained about problems with the ender 3, the fittings for the boden tube, the poor quality tube itself and the plastic extruder that quickly develops groves.I would recommend this kit for anyone that buys an ender 3 pro

The extruder caused feeding issues and under extrusion due to the aluminum extruder where the filament enters being too sharp (right after passing through the gear/motor) and thus useless. I tried everything to get it to work and got nothing. Went back to the original plastic and now prints great. Makes the whole kit worthless. Also, the style of fitting in the top (plastic junk) also snags and shreds filament. If they would have used the original style fitting like the stock one, it would be better. IT EVEN CONES WItH 2 OF THEM. But they can't thread into the extruder. Whats the point?? Do not buy. If you want the dampers, they are like 6 bucks by themselves

The Stepper Dampers don’t work with newer manufactured Ender 3s - the gears are pressed onto the shaft; so, there’s no grub screw to adjust the positioning. Looking into it, you’d have to buy new steppers. You’ll have the same issue with the feeder gear as well, but the OEM gear will still work. If you have a newer Ender 3 (I bought mine Jan 14, 2021), you could save a few bucks by buying a bundle without the stepper dampers.Aside from those issues, the Capricorn tubing and frame look/work fine. I like the look with the red aluminum frame.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great upgrade kit with the Capricorn tube and the stepper motor dampeners great if you have original ender3.It is super easy to install and don’t need to be mechanically inclined just a couple screws

Pay close attention to the pictures!. even though it comes with 2 new pressure fitting it doesn't use them to connect to the Capricorn tube. It has a little plastic insert that holds the tubing in and the hole is to big to thread so that the brass fitting fit. it seems to work for now but doesn't have the teeth to bite into the tube so we will see. I might be able to tap and thread it for the stainless fittings. If you don't want this hassle make sure to get the real one
