Mud Pie Baby Classic Keepsakes Silver-Plate Rattle, Cross

Well made, classic silver (colored) rattle. Our house is overrun with baby toys and our 7 month old son reaches for this at least half the time. Easy to hold, the bell has a sweet ring, and he can't quite get it in his mouth. The only issues I have with it are that he can whack stuff with it (and himself) but what can you do, not everything can be plush. Also it has the word "CHINA" stamped in the body so I was sure to wipe it down well before letting him play with it (which I would have done anyway). This would be a great gift for any baby (or for your own!).

My 7 month old is getting ready to cut teeth and he loves the metal. I'm sure it is very soothing a cool. Easy for his little hands to hold. Looks like a tiny dumbell🤣 it's so cute! So far it has held up nicely. Makes a perfect keepsake for a christening too. It was a bit pricey but worth it IMO.

This rattle is beautiful and has a very different quality of sound compared to my daughter’s other rattles (mostly wooden). She loves it and it’s the perfect size for her hand. I’m also a Montessori teacher specializing in infants and toddlers, and recommend having a wide variety of rattles of different textures and materials for children starting to cognitively connect the movement of their hands to the sound of the rattle (reinforcing cause and effect). The fact that this is metal is also a nice change of material and texture compared to so many other baby toys. This is also just a lovely gift or keepsake item. Would recommend!

I buy one of these for each of my grandbabies when they are born. They are beautiful antique looking rattles that are made very well and the price is amazing! My children know that whenever they have a new little one, that they can be expecting this special and unique gift for their baby with lots of love from Nonnie! 💜💜💜💜💜

This little keepsake made a really great christening gift. The quality of it seemed good and it's super ADORABLE. The only problem is, it was really tiny. I understand that it's for a baby but the baby's hand was way to big for the rattle.

I gave this to my baby for his baptism. It's a beautiful rattle and fits perfectly in his hand. It is well made, a cross at each end, silver. It's different than all the other toys and rattles he has so on day of baptism is was a perfect way to give him something new to play with and keep him interested in during all the festivities.

Durable and pretty! Looks like a baby dumbbell so its funny too! Also would work like one its got a bit of heft to it! Could use a few more rattle pieces inside but its great and the price for it was good for the quality.

I was looking for a gift for my Godson for his baptism. He's 4 months old. This rattle was perfect. It fit perfectly in his hands and wasn't too heavy (I was a little afraid when ordering it, of him knocking himself out but not the case). It came beautifully wrapped with a nice bow. He was very entertained by it when it was first given to him. It also makes a nice keepsake. Very glad I got this and would recommend to others.
