The part was exactly as advertised and fit perfectly into my mercury remote control.

The media could not be loaded. I really liked this product when I first got it — it worked great and did exactly what I needed. It was reliable, easy to install, and I was genuinely impressed at first.After close to 3 weeks, the key wouldn’t turn and I took it off the cluster and it was burnt up which was a bit disappointing since I took good care of it.

It works, had make hole in dash bezel larger to accommodate ignition switch.

Replaced my old 1988 ignition switch. Please note you may have to change the end connectors to different type to match your system so it may not be Plug and Play. You will need to know how to solder or change connectors which is fairly easy for most people trying to replace a switch on their own though so gave most stars anyway. On my unit, I needed to drill hole out slightly bigger to fit the actual switch in throttle box. I used one of the vari-bit conical drill bits, worked great. Also, I blew a fuse on my engine and spent a lot of time trouble shooting so make sure you disconnect battery before starting so you dont have issues like I did LOL

Trimming was required to fit into the case. Works well after installed.
