Perfect for what I need

What a revelation to move back to a simple, "App" free phone. If you just want a rugged, easy to use mobile for calls and texts this is it. I got sick of Apple updating, not being able to delete Apps I did not want. As an iphone ages its battery life becomes shorter as it is running clutter. Frankly a lot of us do not want Apps, we just want to communicate. This does what it says on the tin, and does it well.

Good sturdy phone

There's a very loud phone "locking" noise, and as far as I can tell, no way to tone it down/ disable it without a hacky solution. Currently I've had to set the phone profile to "meeting", and then turn up call volume, which thankfully worked. The phone also doesn't come with a variety of ring/message/alarm tones, but just one ring+alarm tone (and not a good one to boot), and one message tone. The navigation button doesn't stand out enough from the centre, so it's hard to use / very easy to fat-finger the wrong thing. My last phone both had bigger buttons, and they were bevelled away from the center to fix that. And the phone itself doesn't feel all that durable, at least compared to my last one. It's not rubberised, and I'm kinda scared to drop it. Which defeats the purpose of an "ultra ruggedised" product. Still, I haven't pocket dialled police with it yet (even though it's entirely possible), so that's a plus I guess.

Got rid of smart phones the regime track them and everything you do on them. I now have nothing smart and never will. I love this phone fantastic to get one with mo gos tracking and it's tough too. I got a lively leather case with clear front and belt clip for it as well. Highly recommend

This has been a disappointing buy. It's rugged, I'll give it that, but that's really the only good thing about it. The interface is clunky and difficult to use (it reminds me of my first phone twenty years ago), it only stores a hundred text messages. It's so unusable that my son didn't use it, which caused the problem that's finished it off. The battery went flat and now it won't recharge. Really, I seriously wouldn't bother.

Military grade tough phone you can actually drop. No prizes for internet or fancy apps here, that's not what it's for. Make calls, text, photos in the mud, rain or dust storm. With a good battery life and handy bright LED light. Chunky, rubber and composite case has that substantive, solid feel.

Bought the phone for my Dad. He isnt tech savvy and has always struggled with phones as they have become more flimsy and tech focused... all he needs is a good sturdy phone which can be used to phone people. No bells or whistles and doesnt break after a few months. Says it's the best phone he has ever had.
