I love the look and I was very impressed with the quality of this 4-in-1 hub. I can tell it will last a long time. This is great product at an amazing price it was money well spent. I found out that I can run a desktop environment called Dex with my Samsung Galaxy 8 all that's needed was an adapter. So I bought this QGeeM USB C Hub 4-in-1 USB Adapter. This 4-in-1 configuration is perfect. I can plug a monitor or my 4k TV into the HDMI port. I use my mouse/keyboard USB dongle in the 2.0 port and a fast 3.0 256 GB flash Drive in the USB 3.0 port. Then I can keep my phone charging while I'm using Dex with this hub plugged in by plugging my charger into the Hubs USB-C port. Now I can use my phone as a desktop computer which ends up being about the same thing as chromebook but better because now I can carry on my work with the computer in my pocket. The QGeeM USB C Hub 4-in-1 USB Adapter is small enough to comfortably fit in in my pocket with my phone and makes it easier than ever to have a computer on the go. It doesn't lag and transfers amazing quality and the data throughput is phenomenal. I am 100% satisfied and I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to use the Dex Desktop environment on their Samsung Galaxy phone. I also recently got a laptop with a USB-C port and learned all what it can do and used this QGeeM USB C Hub 4-in-1 USB Adapter to try it out. On my PC it's great for doing USB-C to HDMI for a 2nd or 3rd Screen off my laptop beyond the HDMI and Display ports. I can leave my mouse/keyboard USB dongle in the 2.0 port and a flash Drive in the USB 3.0 port plugged into the adapter and leave it connected to my monitors HDMI cable to easily plug in and set up when setting up my laptop. This is great since I take my computer back and forth from my office and my home office I can just use this QGeeM USB C Hub and connect everything with just one plug in. If you have a Dex capable phone or a USB-C port on your computer and want to try or take advantage of the USB-C port's features I highly recommend this Adapter as it is great quality affordable and has multiple use cases. Many Samsung phones offer a desktop experience by connecting an external monitor through Samsung DEX. This is a solid device for connecting a DEX-compatible USB-C Samsung device to an HDMI monitor. It handles 4K UHD effortlessly. The power delivery supports up to 100 W, charging the phone, powering the display adapter, and anything else you connect to the hub (like an active-cooling phone holder). I used a spare laptop power brick. The manufacturer offers a large variety of models with different configurations all at a reasonable price for what you get. The metal case feels solid. The device is compact enough for travel, and seems durable. The attached USB-C cable is short, so if you get an extender make sure it's also rated 100W. That's a good sign that an extension cable is good enough quality to meet the demands of the devices attached. Functional note: USB-C video is a shared signal. Any computer (or phone) that gets too "busy" on the USB bus may briefly blank the signal. This is a shortcoming of USB, not the device. It's rare in my experience.

I have a Chromebook that I wanted to set up in a desktop configuration, however it only has one standard USB port and two USB C ports. I wanted to plug in a keyboard and mouse that each have a standard USB connector. So, I purchased the QGeeM USB C Hub so I could connect the keyboard and mouse. As a bonus, I could replace a USB C to HDMI adapter I already had in my setup. When I got the hub, I connected it to the laptop, and I plugged the keyboard and mouse into it, as well as the HDMI cable to my monitor and the power cable to charge the laptop. The output to the monitor wasn't working and I eventually learned I needed to unplug the power cable from the hub, wait for the video to appear, then re-plug in the power to the hub. I have to do this each time the laptop boots up or comes back from sleep. Since this setup is for my kids, I considered this workaround unacceptable, so I switched back to my previous USB C to HDMI adapter. Other than the video output issue, everything on the hub works great. It plugs into my laptop with USB C and allows me to connect two standard USB devices (keyboard and mouse) as well as my USB C power cable that would have plugged into the laptop where the hub is plugged in. Having the regular keyboard and mouse available to the kids makes the computer much more usable for my kids, who are still learning how to use computers, and using this USB C hub makes this possible.

I purchased this for my new iPad Pro, to both store and retrieve files, and output streaming video from various apps. I must say it works as good as it looks, the space grey finish matches my iPad, and with both USB 2 and 3 ports as well as a HDMI port and a USB-C port for power to the device I have all of the connectivity I need. My iPad recognizes both data files and media on a USB thumb drive connected to the hub, and video streams in 1080P to my large screen LED TV without issue by just connecting it, no settings to mess with. It is small and light weight, and looks to be very well built. It did get slightly warm to the touch after using it for some time but that may be normal. All in all I am very happy with both the functionality as well as the price. I love simple well designed accessories that just work. If you have a need to port files to/from your phone or tablet then this is the hub to get.

I got this 4 Port converter for my Samsung Tab S6 so I could use my mouse and keyboard I typically use with my computer to give me a better laptop-like setup. The converter is small which is nice so it doesn't take up much desk space and is very portable. It feels very well built with a nice metal casing. It started working instantly when I plugged in my mouse and keyboard which is always a plus. Having the extra USB-C port is also nice so that I can charge my tablet while using the converter. Overall I am very impressed with the quality and functionality at such a low price. Recommend to anyone that needs the few extra ports and wants something affordable.

I have a Galaxy s9+ which comes with DEX software. If you are unfamiliar, its software that basically turns your phone into a computer when you plug it into a USB/HDMI cable, so having one of these adapters was a must for me. Started out with the basic cable that went straight from the phone to the TV. I immediately started having connection issues (the screen would just lose connection in the middle of whatever I was trying to do) I figured It was just because I bought the cheap one. Next I tried one with a built in charger thinking it would be a bit better quality and had the same luck. Finally, I found this one. Even though its a little more expensive than the others I tried, in my opinion its worth every penny! I have watched dozens of movies using it and have had no issues at all. It is very versatile (you can plug a thumb drive, laptop, and/or phone into it) and even plug your own charger in while its in use. If you are looking for something to plug into an HDMI port on your TV, DO NOT GO CHEAP! I've tried every different type and I recommend this one over almost any that is on the market.

Purchased the QGeeM USB C to HDMI hub specifically for the use of using Samsung DeX, and in the end it works exactly as intended, with a few quirks that are due to DeX and not this adapter specifically. -Packaging The hub comes packaged in a nice small box with a basic instruction manual and a plastic cover for the USB C plug to keep it from having dirt and debris entering. -Instruction Manual While basic, it does get the job done, as it shows you exactly how to connect to your devices and utilize the USB ports on the hub. It does have a warning about unplugging and plugging in while having a power source, as well as a tip about troubleshooting Macbook power issues. Its a great idea to have the most commonly known issues included in the manual instead of directing us to a website for an FAQ. -Hub Quality Hub and plug casing is made out of aluminum so no issue there for a durability standpoint. All the ports have a nice snug fit and are aligned properly. [A common issue with more cost effective USB hubs.] The USB C plug is gold plated, which is a nice touch, but not specifically necessary. -Additional Feature To really test the device I decided to try it out with my Nintendo Switch and the Official Switch power adapter. To my surprise it worked immediately and connected up with the HDMI to my monitor and my Switch was charging properly. While this isn't specifically advertised, and I WOULD NOT update the switch while connected this way, it makes it a great travel replacement for the Switch Dock. -Overall If you are looking for a nice, cost effective hub to utilize Samsung DeX or to get added functionality out of your USB C ports on your laptop, phones or tablets, this is a great device and would recommend to anyone looking for something similar. -DeX Quirks vs Screen Mirroring Samsung DeX limits the resolution and quality output on USB-C to HDMI devices to 1920x1080 due to worry of overheating, as well as an overall slight quality drop, but it should be noted that it is completely usable, and would completely suffice in day to day usage. Using it in 'screen mirroring mode' instead of Dex seems to have a better quality overall, but limits you to a phone style experience instead of a laptop/desktop replacement.
