Easy to use product that is great at covering gray and postponing trip to hair colorist
This marker is really effective in covering those pesky gray hairs that reappear as early as two-three weeks after my hair is dyed and blonde highlights added. It enables me to push back a visit to the beauty shop by 4-6 weeks. The hardest place to use it is at my temples, as it's easy to end up with some of it on your face. Having used this product for years (tried others, too, but this is my favorite), two things can help if you accidentally get color on your face. First, have a cotton swab at hand to quickly remove the color while wet. Also, if your hands are unsteady or vision issues make root touchup right at the hairline challenging, use a preventive product (like Repelle Professional Haircolor Stain Shield made by Colortrak) which is about the size of chapstick and available from Amazon or a local beauty supply store. As for TouchBack, as long as you keep the cap on tight, it lasts a very long time. My last Light Brown marker was viable for about a year, as I use it only to cover gray at temples and hairline. Blends in beautifully with my natural medium brown hair with ash blonde highlights.

Amazing.
This product is a lifesaver and I hope it’s never, ever discontinued. The marker is amazing for covering the roots along the hairline and part, between hair color appointments. My hair grows quickly ( I feel blessed), and a lot of white roots show below my brunette color even before two weeks has passed. The med brown is actually quite a bit darker than my color, but it blends in just the same. It doesn’t flake or run. I’ve tried pretty much all the options, and return to this one over and over. For me, it lasts much longer than the product packaging claims.

Don't purchase if using to cover thining hair.
I was looking for a cheaper substitute to Joan Rivers Color fill-in root powder and this is not it. This is a liquid product that is dispensed from what looks like a giant wedge tipped magic marker, so it really isn't appropriate for covering thin or balding spots along with faded roots. I know a lot of us ladies use the powder product to camouflage more than just faded roots. This product wont do that without being obvious. Another problem is that you can not rely on this product not to run if you sweat from exercise or heat, this product will run, so you will have a black streak run down your face. EEK! I used it once and that was enough.

It’s a good product
This is a good product to cover the greys. I have used a couple and ended up ordering it again as I felt it’s easy to use and does the job required of it.

A new beauty essential for me
I absolutely love this because it is a marker and not a crayon stick or anything else. It colors the hair with precision, exactly where I need it, and they have the colors that I need— both for my natural hair and my wigs. I will continue to buy this product when it dries out..

It's a ok product
The product was very much what the website said. The product was delivered quickly (as it should have, after charging me $25.00 for a product that weighes at the most 1 pound). I am trying to understand your shipping pages, and can't understand why it was so expensive. (eg. Standard Intl. per shipment $8.99 per weight (lbs.) 2.50 Books $12.49 DVD 12.29 Surely, a small bottle of color is a lot lighter to ship than books or DVD's. I don't even see shipping at $25.00 on the shipment page. I have ordered many things from the USA, and have never in my life been charged this much for a product so small and light. It was my first experience ordering from Amazon. Big mistake. I feel ripped off as far as the shipment charge, and will not be ordering from Amazon again. Thank goodness for Ebay. The product itself is ok. It does lighten the grays, but not completely, no matter how many times I tried to color the same spot. My mascara works just as well, and is cheaper.

It works but temporary!
Best quick cover for the temples!

It's okay.
I used another brand very similar to this that worked better---it was a bit more magic marker like (could we just use magic markers? I doubt they are significantly worse for us) but I chose this one because the ingredients were slightly less toxic/allergic for me personally. Though I still was a bit allergic to it (this probably won't be an issue for most folks--I'm sensitive). It looks a bit goopy on---which on the one hand means you're getting enough product to coat the hair, but on the other hand, makes it look like you put shoe polish on your roots. In general, very dark root cover is challenging because of course it gets on your scalp too and you look weird. This is not the fault of the product. Don't put your glasses on top of your head and end up with goop on your nose. :)
