Melissa & Doug Farm Sound Blocks

I purchased this for my one year old grandson last year for Christmas and again this year for a granddaughter that is the same age now. Different families. This is a wonderful early learning puzzle for this age. The blocks have to be matched up to make a picture to get the sound (so the cow moos when the cow is properly put together. Good and sturdy so its will last through multiple kids in a family. Can't go wrong with Melissa & Doug.

This is super cute concept but the sounds might be actual animals or something but the point is that teaching my young kids animals sounds is far harder when the pig doesn’t say oink but kinda squeals and grumbles. Would have preferred if it said “oink” or “moo” and then played the real animal sounds. Even my 4 year old who knows animals sounds thinks this is wrong and doesn’t enjoy it bc he thinks it’s “broken”

THIs little toy creates hours of fun and figuring out what matches and how is a great learning tool. Fun lifelike sounds accompany each animal set. Love that it is wood and has sounds. Perfect gift for a 1 year old or 2 year old.

Just awful. Arrived with the stickers poorly applied so they are wrinkly and falling off. The sounds are just horrific, especially the horse as others have noted. Melissa and Doug customer service is I think nonexistent because I received no response to my complaints. I think the company used to be good but maybe got too big too fast because the products now are crap. I have yet to find one that is actually good quality. Pass on M&D and consider Hape instead.

This was a great find. My daughter is 22 months old and it didn't take her long to figure out how it works. After playing with it only twice, she can now match up all the animals to make the sounds. This will keep her busy at her table in the kitchen long enough for me to get quite a bit done. She happily calls out "did it!!" every time one of the animals makes their call. I feel the price was very reasonable and I'm very happy with this purchase.

I chose this for my two year old because he is so into animal noises. I really like that there are not a ton of parts. It makes fairly realistic animal noises. It's conceptually challenging for him to get the two blocks both turned the right way, so it seems like good brain exercise. It does not hold his interest for very long unless an adult is doing it with him.

Your products are amazing but I have a suggestion for this one. I purchased this for my 19 month old granddaughter. The blocks are so large that a little hand can't hold them. And the sensors will only sound if the 2 pictures match. That is clever but way too advanced for this age group. If you could make the blocks smaller it would be an improvement.

These blocks are so cute and fun to match. My 13 month old hasn't figured out the matching in the box that is required to make the sound yet, but he loves playing with them. He loves the sounds when I help out. They are very sturdy wood and will hold up to your child's play.

The quality is so bad. The pictures on the blocks are just stickers that any toddler can easily peel away. The stickers were not even properly stuck. They had air bubbles and wrinkles in them.

I like it a lot and I still waiting for it. I know is good because I saw it in a shop.... I hope to get it sometime in the future.

diese Soundblöcke sind eine tolle Idee. die Motive sind für kinder sehr ansprechend und schön gestaltet. Setzt man die Blöcke richtig in den Holzkasten,ertönt das Geräusch das die Tiere machen. Da hätte ich mir allerdings schönere echter klingende Geräusche gewünscht. manche sind ok, aber das Pferd z.b. und noch ein zwei andere hören sich nicht so toll an. aber den kindern gefällt das Spielen und sie freuen sich, wenn ein Geräusch ertönt, denn dann wissen sie, dass sie es richtig zusammengesetzt haben

My 20 month old loves this set. We give it to her for christmas and she's yet to tire of it. Lots of other older children love them too. Hope the transfers stay on as these get pretty rough handling, would also be nice for the toy to have come in a box so I could keep the pieces together, but its fine without just have to search through the toy box for each piece.

２つのキューブを合わせるだけなので、２歳児には、ちょうどいいかもしれません。音が出るので、おもしろがっています。ちょっとリアルな鳴き声ですが、こどもには関係ないようです。日本製ではないので、シールの張り方が多少雑でしたが・・・
