RITUALS Eau de Perfume for Him, Nuit D'azar, 60 ml

It's a very unisex scent which I prefer to overly floral feminine scents designed for women. It's spicy and musky almost. It's quite delightful and arrived in good condition and on time.

Available through its own network of stores, and also through John Lewis department stores, this brand is a little more exclusive than most and comes packaged in a beautifully designed green, gold and black tick cardboard box and green tinted glass bottle, with a gold effect metal badge on the front. I am very hard to please with fragrances but I was instantly won over by this product. With first scents of fruit, black currants and a hint of grapefruit. followed by mint and sage, this is a truly masculine aroma that makes you feel instantly fresher and alive! With 60ml in the bottle, this is a truly decent value pack and th overall scent transports you to an eastern market somewhere with the scents of fruits, spices and herbs. This is the most interesting fragrance I have tried in 2019 and I am going into 2020 with it as top of my list looking forward to a year of smelling wonderful! I thoroughly recommend this!

Most of my perfumes are Arabic, both classic oil based perfumes and the modern ones available on shops. Considering this perfume is supposed to invoke the orient, and Persian perfumes do crossover with Arabic perfumes, I do initially get a similar Arabic scent which is pleasant and toned in such a way that it is more modern and suitable for westerners. The alcohol smells do not overpower like many of the cheaper modern middle eastern perfumes do. However, I do find that this pleasant top note fades too quickly. What is left is a woody scent that is not as middle eastern. Still pleasant but it is not anywhere near as strong and lasting as modern middle eastern perfumes. You would definitely have to keep the bottle with you for a top up once or twice throughout the day. If purchasing as a gift the premium packaging definitely gets across this a quality product. The green and gold makes a really pretty box, and the bottle itself has a wooden cap and gold metal logo.

I tried this perfume, then asked my wife what she thought (without telling her what it was). She guessed Jo Malone, which I regard as high praise. There is definitely something to her comparison - like those scents, this majors on a small number of named scents (in this case, blackcurrant, sage and also vetiver). If you are familiar with Jo Malone blackberry and bay, then this has something of the same mixture of fruit and herbal notes. This scent is not overpowering (by the same token, not the most long-lasting) but very easy to wear. The price point for this perfume is not 'bargain basement' and I would say the quality lives up to the price. The packaging is also very nice - a strong cardboard box lifts off to reveal a nice shaded glass bottle with a solid top. My first perfume from Amazon, and I am very pleased with it.

This arrives in attractive packaging in a glass bottle. Looks nice. Key thing is the pong. In this case, I think it’s a nice one. Not normally one for nice aromas but my son is and he likes this one. Not too expensive and a nice smell.

Rituals come well packaged, it has a strong masculine aroma, definitely manly. You only need a little and it lasts for half a day. Not to pricey and the blackcurrant and sage definitely hit the nose. May not be for everyone, but it is mainly for young men and over sixty-fives. Not bad, but I'll stick to more subtle fragrances than this.

Really nice smell with decent longevity.

Este perfume para hombre, tiene notas de salida afrutadas, para pasar a ser frescas en unos minutos, convirtiéndose al asentarse casi en una fragancia distinta, con un fondo oriental, algo intenso, pero sin ser pesado ni invasivo, en absoluto, sino elegante y diferente, aunque bastante masculino. Sus ingredientes proceden de tradiciones antiguas persas con una mezcla de aroma de grosella negra, con hierbas aromáticas, y vetiver con aroma a plantas. Todo ello mezclado te da una fragancia poco convencional y nada clásica. La caja y el frasco están acorde con el nombre del perfume, todo en verde exótico, teniendo el tapón del frasco de madera, y el frasco tintado en verde. El contenido es de 60 ml e incorpora vaporizador. Es un buen regalo para chicos, que quieren oler de forma diferente y el rango de edad del perfume, puede oscilar en torno a 35-50 años, aunque indiscutiblemente puede usarla cualquier hombre que se sienta a gusto con esta fragancia.

Tanto para hacer un regalo como para regalártelo a ti mismo. Este es un perfume único, diferente, con un toque oriental muy especial, con toques evocadores que te llevarán realmente a un viaje olfativo delicioso. Quizás el punto que no le he encontrado es, precisamente, el que le da el nombre: noche de azahar. Me encanta el azahar y, de hecho, utilizo a diario como perfume uno que es realmente con olor a azahar y no se parece en nada. No he encontrado esas notas en este perfume. Sin embargo, me gusta, me parece delicado y potente a la vez; definido y único; inspirador y personal. Lo recomiendo por su especial aroma, por su preciosa presentación, por su excelente precio al estar hablando de un perfume. Su duración y combinación con todo es una maravilla.
