works pretty well
I've only tried this on a Burris 20-60x scope, I have other spotting scopes so maybe I'll verify compatibility across multiple scopes soon. I tracked the cat in the yard from my upper deck, from 30 - 70 yards. You will focus the scope as normal as if the camera is not attached. The sturdiness of your tripod has the same effect with or without the camera--sloppier, more difficulty getting aimed in. I will probably look at a Traversing and Elevating mechanism. Only missing element I could see was it does not seem to record sound, which would be good to identify what range and ammo you were currently shooting. Your image is as good as your scope, adjusting the focus and magnification is independent of the camera, and the video image is about as good as the scope. Not bad for very little money. Anxious to try it at the range at real distances (300-800 yds). As usual, I have no idea what the "Rate features" of "Sheerness" and "Warmth" are supposed to mean, so I left these blank.

Poor image quality and a joke of an app.
I got this one and the pro version for evaluation. This one would at least connect with the app, the "Pro" unit would not. I stopped the review early due the issues surrounding using these units. They are low cost, but they do not offer suitable value even if they were free. I have a really nice spotting scope and when viewed with the human eye I get a great image, the image on my phone from this thing was a bad joke. The app is a whole nother story, the name they tell you to look for in the manual has nothing to do with the actual app. The app they send you looking for does not exist. Product says the company is SME, for "Shooting Made Easy", the Amazon listing says HME, maybe that stands for "Huge Mistake Everyone"? Don't waste your time and money, this product is a big miss for the company.

Great product
Overall, this is a great product and works very well for long range. This is with the unit attached to my bushnell spotting scope, which I’d like to clarify so no one thinks this was on a $1000+ spotting scope, rather a budget friendly scope. In the attached video, the first target which were the swinging targets was at 220 yards. Second target ( circle with white center next to the bear) was at 550yds. The last target was a walking bear at 870 yards. The last clip was screen recorded with the app open, rather than video record with the app, so that way I could have sound. For all of these clips, my scope was at 20 magnification, and any shakiness was from the wind that came in. Threes and I only gave four stars, rather than five was because the field of view decreases with the attachment which sucks for sub 200 yards if your target area is large, but if you’re shooting a zeroing target, or shooting long range, this is perfect. The second reason for 4 stars is because this unit doesn’t record video with sound. If you’re only planning on using this for spotting shots or seeing groupings, then it’ll be great. But if you want to have sound for your long shots you want videos of, I’d suggest screen recording with your phones microphone on.

Works well for the money. Little tricky getting it connected first time.
I had difficulty getting the camera's wifi working the first time. After I figured out the correct procedure it works easily. Procedure I use: power up the camera, wait for its wifi to power up, with you phone or tablet connect to the wifi using the phones wifi settings, once connection is established and stable then and only then open the app. Also the pro app does not work for me, the basic app does. Also the "Bullseye Target Manager" app from GSM works with this camera!

Works, but glitchy.
Works, but app is glitchy.

Worth every penny.....but be careful
I've seen a lot of bad reviews of this product but I saw it used by a person at my range and it worked terrific, so I bought one. I used mine with an Apple 13 phone and a Konus Spotting Scope. I had to call the Company to find out why my scope would not connect. Within the Spot Shot application I had to turn on the "Connect to Local Network" switch, then it worked. My experience is this is the best thing since sliced bread. The Spot Shot is connecting to your local Wifi, and then it actually turns into it's own wifie server and you connect your phone to the Spot Shot wifie. It's too bad it does not connect using Bluetooth. You must be near enough to some type of wireless network for this to work. It doesn't work without a wireless network to connect to. I suppose if you have a phone that can be used as a "hot spot" that should also work (but I have not tried this). I expect many people from my club will buy this. It is so much easier to look at my phone or an I pad than have to move to my spotting scope all the time. You should also have a good tripod for your spotting scope, it will make it easier to adjust your picture. Except for my little glitch with the software, I am very happy with this.
