The Bio Dude Virgin Cork Bark Flats - 1 Pound (2-3 PCS) - Amphibians, Reptiles, Orchids, Bromeliads and Terrariums

These were bigger than I expected and there were more pieces than I expected. My package came with 4 pieces, I used 3 pieces to make a hide for my bearded dragon and just put the extra piece on the basking spot. The cork holds heat, but doesn’t get hot like the slate does. I noticed that my dragon wasn’t spending much time on his basking spot, and I think it was getting too warm. He spends most of his day there now! And I love the look of this in his tank because it looks natural!

I was able to put cork bark pieces in almost all of my reptile enclosures from just one package. The pieces I got were a bit small, but the quantity made up for it! I got 2 pieces that were about 6x6 inches, one that was about 4x6, and 2 that were about 2x6 inches. The bigger ones are serving as hides and the smaller ones as clutter/decor. Decent value for the price, I think!

I received two beautiful large, flat pieces of cork bark... the pieces are sturdy and pretty clean for natural bark. They're about 1.5 inches thick and about 12 and 9 inches long. I'm using the bark as furniture for my sand boas and am very happy with what I received! With a random grab bag like this you just have to stay flexible lol. It would be great to have a couple of categories of bark to choose from... maybe an option for a pound of flats, or a pound of curled bark, but it's probably a pain to sort the bulk bark pieces out like that. In any case, if I need more bark I'll definitely reorder this! :)

Cork bark came nicely packaged in a box with cushioning. Great cork bark for mounting orchids due to the bark having a natural shape and great thickness! Def recommend!

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy again. The listing title says "2-3 pcs" so I was expecting 2-3 larger pieces to wedge into my 12" wide paludarium but only 1 piece ended up being about big enough (just under 12" long.) I received 7 pieces of various sizes and shapes. A few will be great for mounting orchids. Again, I will definitely buy from again. Maybe consider clarifying the listing title though. Thanks!!

These truly are quality cork bark flats. I’m using them for isopod enclosures and I received 2 giant pieces. I was able to break them into 7 good size chunks to use. They all still had a nice curve to the underside for use as hides. Highly recommend!

The cork pieces are thick and sturdy, covered with beautiful lichen blooms and crags for roots to grow into and widen. Love this product!

Two pieces of dissimilar looking cork. One has very shallow smooth texture while other exhibits large deep cracks and rough uneven surface. Either texture would have been fine if both pieces were the more closely related, but for my intended purpose the pieces cannot be used together due to such a large variation in appearances. I understand that each piece is unique but I should have contacted seller before placing order and indicated that complementary pieces were required. The left appears to be virgin while the right appears secondary or mature harvest. The items totaled 1 lb 2 oz so I actually got more by weight than advertised.
