Dark and full

Amazing sounding cymbal. Beautifully crafted. Not for heavy crashing as pretty thin but the sound that comes out of this cymbal is much bigger than you would expect. Great compliment to my heavier weight crashes.

A cymbal with attitude

I had been looking for a Legacy crash for a few years, but due to the prohibitive high prices of these waited until Amazon.ca had a fantastic sale, and I picked one of these up for over $150.00 off. The Legacy sound is basically the blending of a crash cymbal and a china. It has a some what trashy yet warm sound. It is full bodied but would be better miked in a larger venue. It is a thin,light cymbal and has a buttery softer feel when hit. I have it set up in the centre of my kit between a couple of K crashes. I can ride on it and it has a warm sound to it. It is nice to have some variableness to a normal crash sound.
