We have bought quite a hand full of these over the years and feel you can’t go wrong with them

We ordered this hansgrohe valve for our bath remodel. contractor had no problems installing it and none since. We were used to the on/off facing the opposite direction, but that's a preference not a fault.

Bad news: first valve didnt work. Good news: HansGrohe diagnosed the problem and sent a replacement in 48 hours. Great news: HansGrohe tech support picked up on the 2nd ring both times I called. Best News: once it was fixed, this valve is beautiful.

Missing parts, rubber gasket (95181000), and not possible to reach customer service of the product by phone if you have any questions like why new installed one start to make noise after a day later of installation, otherwise product is quality.

This is so pretty, it really steps up the look of the shower. My whole house is trimmed in gold/brass so that's why I went with this color. I did hire a plumber, this was a bit more complicated then just screwing it on. I am not up on name brand shower fixtures but the plumber was quite impressed when he saw the name on the box. I only heard swearing once and he said that was not due to this, but his dropping of a tool. He came out and said this company was "a joy" to install. For those who's curious, $175 was his charge. I took my first shower and its easy to hold/grasp and easy to get a different temperature. I love it, though the cost of install was considerable higher then I expected.

This is a gold valve and trim set for a shower faucet from hansgrohe. hansgrohe is one of the premier makers of kitchen and bathroom plumbing implements in the world. Others can equal Grohe at their top end--Moen, American Standard, Delta--and some low-output manufacturers are even fancier and costlier. But for general use, hansgrohe is the Mercedes of plumbing implements: designed and built in Germany, carefully engineered and beautifully finished. And this valve epitomizes all that makes hansgrohe great. It's beautiful both in the areas that are visible and in the areas that are concealed when installed. Look at the video I've included for the precision of manufacture and care in coating on the underside of the handle. This set includes the hansgrohe pressure balancing rough-in valve and the necessary cartridge. Everything is there to install the shower valve and trim. Installation of the rough-in valve requires some plumbing skill. If you've never sweated pipes before, installation may not be something you want to try. hansgrohe is Masco Corporations premier line of implements, and it shows with this valve and faucet: superior in every way.

This Ecostat S Modern series Shower Valve and Trim kit is at the entry level for Hansgrohe. It represents excellent quality and design yet at an affordable price. It is an upgrade from most fixtures in this price range. It features a screw less cover plate and clean lines. Simple yet refined. The valve includes built-in stops so you can cut the water off at the valve to service it and not have to cut it off to the whole house. The lever has a silky smooth feel to its operation. It provides a single level of water flow with the handle position changing the temperature. Hansgrohe provides many great quality plumbing fixtures just like its other German competitor Grohe. I have experience with both manufacturers and find them both to be very high end and high quality. 5 stars.

We recently installed the hansgrohe Ecostat Square Modern 2-Handle 6-inch Wide, Temperature Memory, Valve, Diverter in Brushed Bronze, 15714141 Thermostatic Trim in our main bathroom and we love it. We immediately decided to get this for our secondary bathroom (with a shower only, not a tub). I love the subtle, lovely color. But it’s not just looks. This operates smoothly and well – the quality really shows. This coordinates perfectly with the hansgrohe Raindance S showerhead we have – same color and both have an elegant simplicity.
