Works great for beginners
TL,DR: easy to use the spray and brush. The kabuki brush is so soft. After 4 uses I feel like I'm getting the hang of it. I followed the advice from a different post. Two short sprays downward toward the sink to help cleanup. Then I dotted forehead, nose, cheek, cheek, chin to spread it out a little bit. Then went back and brushed the foundation in small circles all around. I have combination skin and this feels lightweight. the Fair shade worked well for my Wisconsin winter skin tone. Full Review: First I need to start out that I am not a makeup expert by any means and consider myself a novice. I haven't worn makeup in probably 2-3 years. I'm a 40 year old mother of two boys. I am a professional in healthcare (orthopedic surgery PA)on the go. I decided it was time to get back into skincare and makeup for my own wellbeing and confidence. I have combination skin on the oily side with dry skin on my forehead and nose and large pores. I get occasional breakouts along the jaw line and have discoloration from past breakouts. When the kit arrived, my face regimen was an acne type face wash in the shower followed by a salacylic acid moisturizer. I thought I was helping prevent pimples, but what I was doing was drying out my skin. The first time I tried the foundation I was disappointed because although it went on easily, it stuck to my dry skin and looked uneven. I realized that the cream and lotions I used in my twenties are not the right thing for me in my forties. I felt like I was too young for all of the "Age defying" creams, but too old for Clearsil. The skincare isle at the store is overwhelming with all of the choices. So, The scientist in me hit the internet to find out what I should be using instead. I learned that I need a cleansing oil to remove dirt and makeup without stripping my face of oil, which just in turned caused more oil. I read about all of the serums that are out there. I decided that I would try Vitamin C serum (boosts collagen for firmness and reverses cell damage which will lighten discoloration) and hyaluronic acid (hydration without oily feeling. HA can hold 1000 times its weight in water). Lastly, I needed a moisturizer and found one for combination skin. This is just the new morning routine. Nighttime is micellar water to wipe away makeup, followed by cleansing oil. I decided that I would use a retinol serum (a form of Vitamin A that can clear up acne, even skin tone and color. it can be harsh at first and can make a person sun sensitive. so good at nighttime.) I was able to find all of these new items at Walmart. I spent about $60 total. After one night and one morning, the flaky skin was practically gone. I'm 4 days in now. The foundation went on so much better and didn't catch on any dry skin. By the 4th day I was getting quicker with using the primer and foundation. At first I didn't think the primer was doing anything or thought I wasn't using enough. But I looked closer and realized that it gave a matte look. Hopefully that's what its supposed to do. The foundation lasts all day. I am still in need of a concealer pen for undereye darkness and a few spot coverup. So now my routine includes actual skincare and foundation. I don't want to shock my coworkers with a full face makeup overnight! lol I am still learning about the rest of my makeup. I never really learned how to properly apply it. I watched a "no-makeup" makup tutorial by Beauty and the Boutique. This encouraged me to buy a concealer pen and liquid blush that can be used on eyes, cheeks, and lips. Still waiting for those to arrive. So little, by little I'll figure it out.

A pleasant surprise
At nearly $50, I was worried when I plunked down the money to buy this makeup. I'd read some reviews that said it was too dark and too orange. But when I hit 40, I began to have more and more trouble finding makeup that worked for me. Liquids and creams sank into every crease and emphasized every flaw. I used Bare Minerals for a long time but the drier my skin became, the harder it was to use, and the worse it looked. It can also be really messy and got all over everything. There was so much waste, especially when I traveled and the powder flew everywhere when I opened a jar that had been in my suitcase. I'd seen airbrush makeup advertised before, and while the results looked great in ads, I didn't want to risk investing in a whole airbrush system! So I thought I'd try this and see how it sat on my face. I was very pleasantly surprised from the first use. I am extremely pale and did not find the light makeup to be orange or too dark at all as some complained in their reviews. Maybe I just applied it more lightly than other people? Don't know. I was very happy with it. I showed it freshly applied to some friends and they were impressed. The coverage was the best I've been able to get out of a makeup in ages. It didn't stick to little skin flakes or delve into flaws. With the brush, I was able to smooth the little wrinkles around my eyes better than with any makeup I've used in years. I decided to try spraying it directly on my face as well. The instructions tell you to spray the primer and the makeup on the brush, then brush on your face. I liked spraying it on my face directly, too. I smoothed it out with the brush after. If I want heavier coverage, I will do this in future. Of course, if you do, it will really get on your clothes! It's fairly expensive, and I don't know how long a bottle of this stuff lasts. But for the results, I am going to keep right on paying it. I like that I have this canned system to have with me for travel, in case I ever want to try a more elaborate airbrush makeup system someday. The makeup texture is creamy and nice. I just used it from about 8:30 AM to about 7:30 PM and I looked good all day. No running. My skin has not looked this smooth with any other makeup in years. If you're looking for a makeup for older skin, I recommend it.

MEH ... No hype here ...
I purchased the Magic Minerals AirBrush Foundation System (Complete 5 PC set) by Jerome Alexander in LIGHT. I was excited to try it. I will be fair and say that I have a really hard time finding foundation that works for me as I have gotten older. I am 61 and my biggest issues are large pores, hormonal blemishes, and a light dusting of that baby hair all over my face. Oh, and let's not forget my dying skin that is constantly flaking, faster and faster, as I (we) age. Anyway, as coverage goes, the foundation did a great job covering blemishes and areas of discoloration. It did not help in terms of minimizing pores, and honestly, NO foundation seems to like the little hairs on my face. That said, it seems I can never achieve the natural look that I would like to have. The invisible Air Primer didn't seem very helpful in terms of resolving any of those issues for me. It did help the foundation glide on more smoothly, so I'll give it that. The Air Finish Setting Spray smelled nice and I liked it. I thought it helped with trying to achieve the desired, more natural look. I sprayed it on and used a sponge to apply it. The set also included 2 kabuki brushes -- a fat one and a slimmer one. The brushes are nice. All in all, it's a nice product and it's probably great for most people. It just didn't really work well for me. I am not going to dis it for that. It was worth a try, lol!

Goes on well and covers with just a few squirts
Goes on so well and covers well, I didn't have to cake it on to get good coverage. At first I was hesitant about it being a spray but I got it after a few squirts which is all I needed. The color matches well. It went well with my other makeup as well. I put a light powder over it and shadow.

Costly and very drying
Was on the fence with this makeup, because it was costly, but I ordered it thinking it would be great. Although the color was spot on, I found it to be very drying. I won’t be ordering it again.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
So i am an older woman, 65, and i have some wrinkles. Nothing extraordinary, just plain old 65 yr old wrinkles. I bought this product because i wanted to cover the wrinkles as much as possible and it appeared this product may be able to do this. I cry bull#&@%! I followed direction carefully. 1) I washed my face before using the product. 2). I sprayed the primer on the brush and applied it to my face as instructed. I used the kabuki brush (nice brush BTW) as instructed. 3). I sprayed the foundation on the brush. (MAKE SURE YOU ARE APPLYING THIS IN AN AREA THAT CAN CONTAIN ANY ADDITIONAL SPRAY!!!! I placed it in the sink and sprayed. The spray goes everywhere, and when it hits the brush, there is a deflection spray that goes even MORE everywhere). I applied as instructed. This makeup went on very smooth, it was the perfect color, and felt very light when applying. I was really hopeful this would be the product of my dreams!! I looked in the mirror and you can imagine my horror when i saw every single wrinkles on my face, magnified as though they were added to my face as an afterthought! So ok I thought maybe i needed more. Long story short....I applied this product 3 times and each time appled the wrinkles were so much more pronounced than the time before!! So apparently you are NOT able to "build" as the advertisement suggests. THIS PRODUCT IS CRAP. I RATE THIS ZERO POINTS!! By the way,I am using a foundation called "Veer". A lovely product. I recommend trying it. It does not cover my 65 year old wrinkles but it does cover the foundation so easily, the wrinkles are not as noticeable. I will just embrace my wrinkles and accept that unless you have a professional stylist available to you (I do not) DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

“Glowing” results
I bought this during the prime sale. I’m fifty-six and I did some modeling when I was younger. I take good care of my skin. I had early menopause that practically happened overnight about ten years ago. So my skin has changed. Most foundation and concealer just does g loom good anymore. I’ve tried everything. I exfoliate and moisturize daily and I’ve tried every brand and type of foundation. The problem is that you can see the makeup on top of my skin. It didn’t meld with my skin. So any pores or imperfections were even more noticeable. So I thought I was just going to have to stop wearing foundation. My daughter recommended I try an air brush type of foundation. I hadn’t considered it but I saw that it was on sale so I took a chance. It’s really gorgeous. I’m blown away by it. My son and daughter-in-law came over for dinner tonight and my daughter-in-law said, “Mom you look so pretty, your skin is glowing”. That’s not an exaggeration, she really said that. I have the best daughter-in-law in the world. My makeup has been on for twelve hours now, so I’m sold. I have a new makeup brand. I’m too
